Britain's leading ladies seem to have caught the culinary bug: First it was Gwyneth Paltrow, then Liz Hurley, and now it's Kate Moss.
According to the Mirror, the world fashion icon is working on a Jewish cookbook. Inspired by friend Stasha Palos, who recently authored a Jewish cookbook, the supermodel has "fallen in love with the idea of doing something similar, with a unique Moss twist."

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow's career may be headed away from the silver screen. The movie star is set to pen her first book, a cookbook, to be published in 2010.
Publishers Janklow & Nesbit have described the cookbook, entitled My Father's Daughter, as one that "focuses on the importance of togetherness at mealtime, emphasizing that cooking for your family is the ultimate expression of love."

A new restaurant called "The Company" is moving into the Luxor hotel in Las Vegas. While I can't tell you who's going to be at the executive chef helm, I can tell you who's behind the idea: Wilmer Valderrama, Nick Lachey and Nicky Hilton.
In a recent interview with People magazine, Valderrama said that The Company is going to have a special vibe and flavor, especially created for Las Vegas.

Although some people may think all pasta dishes are loaded with carbs and cheese, this recipe proves them wrong. It's chock full of mushrooms and kale, and combines whole wheat pasta with a rich sauce made from hazelnuts. Most grocery stores carry whole wheat pasta these days; you can find it in the regular pasta aisle.

Call it a predilection, an idée fixe, or simply a weird fascination, but I've always had a penchant for Continental dishes with unique names and even more intriguing histories. But it wasn't until I took the time to look up some of the foods that I realized many of the dishes aren't just named after their creator or an inspirational figure, but also other oddities, like locales, plays, and even battles.
Since many of you scored so well with your food trivia the first time around, just for kicks, I thought I'd test you again.
