Last Wednesday night the Sugar Network hosted a private screening of Sex and the City. Naturally the movie was followed by a fabulous fete. I helped plan the after party and now I'm going to share all of the wonderful details with you.

Wednesday night was huge for us here at Sugar headquarters: we hosted a private screening of the Sex and the City movie! The extravaganza involved glamorous outfits, gorgeous looks, a plush red carpet, and a fantastic after party.
The event was held at a gutted-out, old Limited Store in the Embarcadero Center.

Earlier this week we paid tribute to the food trends established by the series Sex and the City. Before the show, brunch had never seemed so glamorous and the only thing served in a martini glass was a martini. Like the series, the movie will most likely change the way we eat and drink.
Off to Market Recap: Martini Glasses
Since Sex and the City comes out in two days, I thought it was the perfect time to shop for martini glasses. To enjoy cosmopolitans and flirtinis in the proper servingware, you headed off to market in search of new martini glasses. You looked for chic, stylish glasses that would be found in the hands of Carrie, Samantha, Miranda, and Charlotte.

The incredible influence that Sex and the City had on my life is utterly undeniable. While it not only changed the way I dressed and looked at men, it also changed the way I ate, drank, and partied.
From cupcakes to cosmos, the show was responsible for creating major food trends.

What would the world of girlie drinks be like without Sex and the City? Besides cosmopolitans and flirtinis, the uber-popular television series also gave birth to the tartini. The tartini is a combination of the cosmo and the flirtini because it takes components from both cocktails.

Besides cosmopolitans, Fab and I offered guests Flirtinis at our Sex and the City Marathon. Like the cosmo, a Flirtini is a cocktail that was featured on an episode of the show. The Flirtini also happens to be Danny's signature drink, and he has making them down to a science.
