At Sugar HQ, we're very eco-conscious, and we have recycling bins all over the office. I don't know about you, but although I do my best to recycle, I'm not quite certain of what should go in the bin and what should go into the waste basket. There are some hard and fast rules about recycling, and the main one you should be aware of is that you shouldn't put food and dirty or wet items in the recycling bins.

I've never decorated for St. Patrick's Day, and now that I come to think of it, I don't have a stitch of green in my home. If I were hosting a party in my home, I surely would, though. I guess I'm not a very good Irish American girl.

Serve the Irish cheddar on a wooden cheese board ($15-$30) and place a clear ramekin ($2) with the smoked salmon mousse close by. Cook the traditional corned beef and cabbage in a slow cooker ($130) and offer the pot de cremes in festive champagne coupes.
