Will You Watch Melissa d'Arabian's New Show?
Aug 7 2009 - 9:45am From the beginning of The Next Food Network Star, mother of four Melissa d'Arabian seemed to be an unlikely candidate. She proved everyone wrong last week when she took the title on the season finale of the series. Now she has her very own show, Ten Dollar Dinners With Melissa d'Arabian (a notable departure from her Kitchen Survival Guide pilot shown on the finale).

Oh heck yeah I'll be watching!!! I was rooting for Melissa from DAY ONE!!! I was so happy that she won, I think she deserved it, and I'm very interested in her culinary point of view! I've already got her show set to DVR and I'll be watching live also! I couldn't be more excited!

Though I watched every single freaking episode of the show, I might have to DVR it. Busy Sunday, but I am interested to see what mealsd she can come up with and why the departure from the original pilot's show's plan.

I'm totally going to watch it! I think she's great and I can't wait to see what she can do with $10. I just hope she sticks around like Aaron McCargo and Guy Fieri and doesn't only do like, two episodes and quit like Amy did.

I will definitely be watching! I liked Melissa from the beginning. Good food doesn't have to be expensive just full of flavor and she's proven she can deliver.

I am not a your mother, and I did not enjoy all of your treats. If you want to go with the young crowd, then I suggest that you get the menus for your babies----not us who have been there

I tuned in for the first episode, and thought her recipes were great. She did seem a bit nervous and frantic, though.

Blegh. I did not like her or any of the other contestants. In fact, I was hoping there would be a twist at the end where no one was deemed worthy!

    NO. I WILL NOT WATCH.
JEFF REALLY HAD A CATCHY COOKING IDEA (COOKING WITH DIFF SPICES).
A MORE 'VERSATILE' USE OF FOOD.
WITH THE COST OF FOOD TODAY, 10$ MEALS ARE VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE AND I FEEL IS VERY LIMITING IF COOKING FOR MORE THAN ONE PERSON. WHAT I SUGGEST IS: IF THE WINNER STARTS HER SHOW WITH WHERE SHE BOUGHT HER FOOD ITEMS AND THE ACTUAL COSTS.

Mellisa's show is boring as hell, her food is just adequate, and she gives me nightmares. I thought Jeffrey would win from the very first episode and I'm curious how A) the Judges deemed Mellisa to be the better contender and B) The Food Network decided to renew her terrible show? My guess is that they are really grasping at straws to fill that 10am Sunday spot.

You could not beg, borrow, or steal enough money to get me to watch this woman's show. I love children, my niece and grand-niece are very dear to my heart, but I got so sick of having this woman's family shoved down my throat every time she opened her mouth. Her kids are being a mother give credibility? Does it then follow that no kids means no credibiltiy? I found her to be nothing but annoying. Jeffrey would've been a much better choice.

. As for Melissa D'Arabian's 10 dollar meals show, I learn absolutely NOTHING from her tips. She seems uninteresting, her meals are almost laughable, and she is almost out of her milieu. Altho, I am an avid Food Network lover, I won't watch this show ever again. It is a waste of time. I guess I can't believe the Food Network would stoop so low to continue to have her on air.

I'm sorry, but Melissa D Arabian just doesn't have any personality, the show is very hard to watch. I like the personalities of your Paula , Rachel, Sandra of Semi-Home made, five ingredient fix gal has a great show!
