I'd almost (key word: almost) forgotten about Party's unbelievable pumpkin cake with pecan brittle and whipped cream cheese frosting when I received a private message from TeamSugar member BisouBisou with jaw-dropping photos of her own rendition, which she made for Thanksgiving as a dessert. Seeing the exquisite cake and the lush photography made me fall in love with the cake all over again. Isn't it amazing how images can do such a thing?

My whole life, I've been a sucker for trying the every possible packaged food novelty, from bacon-flavored mayonnaise to ice cream cupcakes. However, my favorite kind of food promotion is — hands down — the interactive kind. For example, some time ago, Kettle sent Party and I an assortment of new chips, and asked us to vote on the brand's next flavor.

If you don't want to buy anything or hate the color pink, there is an alternative way for you to help in the fight against breast cancer: bake! Similar to our own network, Bake For the Cure allows you to login and share recipes. Every time you upload a recipe to their website, ten cents will be donated to Susan G.
