I love the classic illustrations from the Carroll book, and while many craftspeople and artists on Etsy have riffed on those illos, there are also plenty of other cool versions of Alice in Wonderland to be found. Alice in Wonderland Baby Shower

This summer my best friend had her first baby and we made quite a baby shower to celebrate his arrival!

Her favorite book is Alice in Wonderland which inspired this Alice themed party.

We started with Mad Tea Party Invites.

and combined it with killer details.

Great centerpieces.

Yummy food.

and of course great activities.

I would say it turned out to be a super special occasion!

I wanted to post some pictures to give others ideas as I know when I was planning I scoured the internet for many days in search of pretty things.

I also love all the Sugar sites but am new to posting so I thought this would be a good introductory experience, sorry if I butchered it.

Tom Binns's jewelry always makes me salivate. The jeweler has jumped on the Tim Burton Alice in Wonderland train, along with Stella McCartney, to create a inspired jewelry collection with Disney. The heart-infused goods are perfectly in time for Valentine's Day, too. In his usual mashup style, earrings, a bracelet, and a few necklaces are fit for the Queen of Hearts. Prices range from $100 for these earrings to $1,000 for the "All Heart" necklace. The red-hot hearts are juicy sweet, while the black-death hearts are ironically romantic. It's still a few months before Tim Burton's gorgeous, undoubtedly creepy re-envisioning of Alice in Wonderland premieres, and rarely have I been so excited to see makeup and costuming. To accompany the film, both Urban Decay and OPI have come out with collections that mimic the palettes used in the movie. The colors are cool, and the packaging is out of this world. New York Fashion Week, Spring 2008: Alice + Olivia

Mother Nature works in mysterious ways and the downpour right before Alice + Olivia's Alice in Wonderland themed Spring show added to the mystique.

Located at their store, which they outfitted to comply with the whimsical and trippy story of Alice, I found myself falling down the rabbit hole while viewing colorful party dresses, high waisted pants and shorts, bold patterns, frilly sleeves and an overall fun and fantastical collection. There were casual pieces too, like light blue denim and laid back tailored jackets.

But the real treats, aside from a hippie lux sheer blouse with patchwork beaded front, were the yellow and black edible treats. From cupcakes beckoning "Eat Me" to absinthe, I managed to squeeze in the ultimate fashionable snack. I'd like Hayden Panettiere, a big fan of Alice + Olivia, to know that she missed out!

The Look: Alice + Olivia in Wonderland

This week my girl FabSugar found herself at the Alice + Olivia Alice in Wonderland themed show. While the clothing is absolutely gorgeous - lots of bold patterns and frilly sleeves - and the hair wonderfully mod, I was really excited to discover that she was on Yum patrol and snapped lots of photos of the nosh and drinks.

An ornate yellow table and matching yellow chairs stood in the center of the room. On the table black, white and yellow dinnerware echoed the black, white and yellow backdrops and furniture in the store - including a suspended upside-down piano.

The table was filled with delightful goodies, such as "Eat Me" labeled cupcakes from Crumbs, black M&Ms, mini pb & j sandwiches and fluffernutter sandwiches too. The perfect finishing touch was definitely the container of Lucid Absinthe - talk about setting the mood! I only wish I could have been there!

What do you guys think? Does this decor fit the mood or what?

Get ready to fall down the rabbit hole with Goldie's new Alice in Wonderland color collection. Based on Disney's film of Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, the glosses, palettes and nail polishes will have you grinning like the Cheshire Cat.

Although there are two bold red lip colors, the overall color palette is dominated by soft pinks and peaches, many with a slight shimmer. Essentially, they're very pretty colors that would work well for everyday wear. The packaging has Alice motifs, and to carry on the Wonderland theme, the color names include Hookah, Tea Cake, Sweets, Mad Hatter, and White Rabbit.
