Amy Sedaris's Rabbit Rescue

A friend of mine sent me this video of Amy Sedaris and her rabbits at their cupcake shop. And to be totally honest, it's one of the best things I've seen in a long time. The video is actually a commercial for the latest version of Microsoft Office, but the whole first half features them behind the scenes at their cupcake shop. Little fluffy bunnies making cupcakes on conveyer belt-like devices? Does it get any better than that? I don't know about you, but my dream cupcake shop would definitely be powered by an army of rabbits.

To check out the adorably kitschy cupcake shop video, read more.

Cheesiest Odd Couple: Amy Sedaris and Martha Stewart

If you're in need of a little Friday afternoon pick-me-up, I have just the thing for you. Thanks to FourFour, I discovered that entertainer extraordinaire Amy Sedaris appeared on Martha Stewart's show. It was her second visit, and this time she and Martha spent a few minutes making cheeseballs. I love the way Amy - in her adorably childish dress - makes crass jokes about bongwater, while Martha - who is ever so diplomatic - glides right over them with such grace. I think they might be the best odd couple pairing ever, and the video is definitely worth viewing. To check out both video clips, read more

Not always an easy read, but really fascinating and well written. A must for anyone who cares about what they eat. Buy The Omnivore's Dilemma for $18.86.

Joy of Cooking 75th Edition
by Irma Rombauer

You know this book, you've seen it on countless numbers of cook's shelves. Your mom may have had it and her mom too. If the foodie in your life doesn't have a copy on their shelf make sure you pick up the newly revamped version that came out this year. The editors have gone back to their roots and taken the best bits of the original and revamped them for how we eat now. Buy the Joy of Cooking 75th Edition for $18.00.

I Like You: Hospitality Under the Influence
by Amy Sedaris

Funny lady Amy Sedaris (best known as Jerri Blank in Strangers With Candy) has done something really special with her semi-spoof of an entertaining book. It's a bit quirky, a bit kitschy and a lot of fun. Pick up a copy for the party thrower in your life. Warning: it's pretty hard to let go of, so you may need to pick up two. Grab a copy of I Like You for $19.59.

Don't Try This at Home: Culinary Catastrophes from the World's Greatest Chefs
by Kimberly Witherspoon and Andrew Friedman

Sometimes even the best chef in the world suffers from a kitchen catastrophe. This book is a fantastic collection of disasters that will make every inspiring chef (and non-chef) laugh out loud.
Don't Try This at Home is available for $24.95.

Cheers to fall! Raise a champagne filled cupcake in celebration! When you're done chomping down on that, go ahead and plan a festive fall dinner party.

This week marked the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival. Did you eat your mooncakes?

New Game: We give you a few ingredients and you tell us what you would make!

We said farewell to ice cream and hello to soup! Each week PartySugar will bring you a new soup recipe. She's kicked things off with a creamy artichoke soup.

Looking for a homemade lunchbox snack alternative? Try these homemade fruit roll ups.

Science alert! How well does water clean your fruits and vegetables?

Top Chef is just about over. This week we went from four contestants down to three.

It's Oktoberfest time! How much do you know about it?

Miss Martha is expanding her empire. First there was Macy's, and now there is her own wine. Speaking of Martha, did you see her and Amy Sedaris making cheeesballs?

Is taking children on a field trip to a winery a good idea or bad one?

Ugly is in! Don't miss out on this gallery of ugly tomatoes.

And finally, would you eat fish balls?

Be sure to check out the battle between Martha Stewart's and Amy Sedaris's vanilla cupcakes.
If you've become overwhelmed by all of the chocolate desserts that the Valentine's season offers, then give these scrumptious Sour Cream Lemon Bars a try. - Baking Sheet

Sometimes the most simple dish can win over all of your guests. If you're looking for something delicious that will do the trick, try these Chicken Breasts Braised with Hard Cider & Parsnips. - The Amateur Gourmet

Either you love Valentine's Day, or you hate it. Either way you can get a tasty meal. - Chow

I'll let it be known now, I have a serious weak spot for fried eggs, that's why this Southern Fried Eggs "Benedict" is going to get devoured this weekend. - The Delicious Life

Yum Market Finds: Cool Kitchen Tools

Every time I check out the Yum Market to see what you have added in relation to the Off To Market challenges, I'm super pleased to find a bunch of other really cool stuff. Today I stumbled across three kitchen tools that really caught my eye. The first was an antique kitchen scale submitted by theotherhalfofme. I don't have a kitchen scale yet, but to improve my skills as a baker I hope to get one soon, and I'll use this chic scale as my inspiration. Two more cool things for the kitchen, so read more

Arianell saved the cutest sweetheart baking pan/molds just in time for Valentine's Day. Make chocolates, cheesecakes, and other delectable goodies in a heart shape to show your loved ones how much you care.

The funny little voodoo doll toothpick holder found by WhiplashGirlchild is hysterical. It's bound to start plenty of conversations at any party and would make an awesome hostess gift for an unconventional hostess like Amy Sedaris.

Keep on adding anything that strikes your fancy that is related to food to the Yum Market and you may just may see your finds featured here. To learn how to save on TeamSugar read geeksugar's guide.
