Looks like Giada De Laurentiis has got a bun in the oven, and by that I don't mean a delicious loaf of bread! According to People, the celebrity chef just announced that she is expecting her first baby in early April. Here's more:
"When I found out I was pregnant I was in complete shock," De Laurentiis, 37, admitted.

While a baby shower is generally held to celebrate the upcoming birth of an unborn child, they are also thrown to shower gifts on the baby. I consider a baby shower to be the child's "first" birthday. Much like a wedding, guests are asked to bring essential gifts that will aid the parents in their new life with baby.

At a baby shower, it's incredibly important to have a nonalcholic specialty drink. That way the mother-to-be can join in the festivities. For Denise's baby shower brunch, I'll offer guests mimosas and spiced pomegranate sparklers.
