Everyone has their favorite foods and beverages, including pop stars. Only, unlike the rest of us, pop stars can demand to have these items waiting for them in their dressing rooms. Whether it's Oreos, 10 pounds of carrots or Cristal, the stars get what they ask for. When preparing for her next gig, Christina Aguilera needs to have her dressing room stocked with Flintstones chewable vitamins, Oreos, Nesquick and an assortment of organic foods.

Country pop diva, and juice fiend, Shania Twain insists on 10 pounds of carrots, six lemons, three papayas, one watermelon and then some. To balance out all of that juice she insists on chomping down orange colored cheese popcorn.

But my favorite demand comes from 50 Cent. His demands include KFC, Boston Market and a cold bottle of Cristal. Now that's what I call classy!

Starbucks Tells Jennifer Hudson Thanks, But No Thanks

Usually, when celebrities demand things backstage, they get them. However it looks like someone at Starbucks put their foot down and refused to give in to idol-turned-diva Jennifer Hudson.

Apparently Jennifer was supposed to perform at the annual Starbucks shareholder meeting in Seattle. However, according to TMZ, after her agent made some zany demands, Starbucks pulled the plug on the performance. Turns out that Chairman Howard Schultz didn't like the way her agent was dealing with his people and said enough is enough.

So what were the zany demands? Try FIVE town cars (herself, hair and makeup artists, security, and her assistant), humidifiers backstage and baked chicken wings at 10:00am. I guess it was the chicken wings that was just too much. However, in Jennifer's defense, she apparently didn't know about the demands, her team came up with them all on their own.

Chicken wings... at 10am? At that time of day I'm more about fresh yogurt, muffins and pancakes. I'd probably demand eggs benedict and waffles... How about you guys, if you were a famous diva, what would you demand at 10am?

Burgers Popping Up All Over Fashion Week

While we know what the folks at Fashion Week have been sipping and wearing, what exactly have they been eating? It's hard to believe, but this stylish crew has been chomping on burgers!! Not just any old burger, New York's latest burger craze from Pop Burger, the "invisible" burger.

Popping up backstage at shows like Vena Cava and Jenni Kayne, the invisible burger is invisible because it's meat free. The patty is replaced with a fried portobello mushroom that both meat eaters and animal lovers enjoy with equal enthusiasm. Want the recipe to Fashion Week's most coveted food accessory?? The Invisible Burger
From Pop Burger

Medium Portobello Mushroom (approx 5 oz)
1 egg
2 ounces of flour
3 ounces of breadcrumbs
Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper
Brioche Bun
Sliced tomato
Sliced Bread
2 slices of American cheese

Clean and remove stem and dark brown gills of mushroom. Sprinkle olive oil on top of mushroom, add some salt and pepper, place on a sheet pan and roast mushroom for 10 minutes in oven at 275 degrees.
After oven, dip mushroom in flour, then dip in egg and then dip in breadcrumbs consecutively. Deep fry mushroom in oil for 2 minutes in oil temp of 375 degrees.
Remove and then garnish with lettuce tomato and cheese and place on brioche bun.

Serves 1.

Small Talk with Ilan Hall

Last week our very own FabSugar had the opportunity to chat with Top Chef Season Two winner, Ilan Hall. They were both backstage at the Cynthia Rowley Spring 2008 show - Fab reporting on the looks, and Ilan feeding the masses. Luckily for us, they were both able to take a few minutes from their jobs and provide us with a fun interview.

FabSugar: What did you have for breakfast?
Ilan Hall: I think I had baked chicken skin.

FS: Baked chicken skin?
IH: Yeah, because it's part of one of the dishes, and so I was just tasting it. That's what I got full on.

FS: Any juice or coffee?
IH: I had coffee, lots of coffee.

FS: A successful party is ....
IH: One that you get woken up from on the floor... I don't know.

FS: What's your guilty pleasure food?
IH: Pork skin.

FS: All of the skins!
IH: I know, I know, I've got a fetish.

FS: Do you cook at home, or do you tend to eat out?
IH: I eat out most of the time, but once in a while.

FS: When you do cook at home, what are your favorites?
IH: I like roasting fish. I like roasting chickens. I like, um.. I like making french fries. That's my favorite when you get a beautiful, perfect crispy french fry. To make a really good french fry, it takes a long time. There's a lot of care that goes into it.

FS: So what's your favorite kind of french fry? Steak fries? Curly fries?
IH: Steak fries, traditional.

FS: If we opened up your fridge, we would find...
IH: Nothing, I'm homeless right now.

If you've ever wanted to see Paula Deen live, now's your chance. This summer she's kicking off a "National" Tour - I put national in quotes because it's only five cities: Shreveport, Charlotte, Nashville, Dallas and Atlanta. Each two hour show will feature Ms. Paula cooking up some of her favorite dishes, answering fan questions, sharing tips and doing whatever it is a chef does when on tour.

"People need to get on back to the kitchen," said Paula. "I'm gonna show you how we do it at my house. I'll tell you what I cook and share the secrets to making it good. But the most important thing I want folks to realize is that the memories are what matter. Families get to know each other through cooking a meal together, and then sitting down and lickin' their plates clean. Now that's comfort food."

Oh, that's what they do when they're on tour. They lick their plates clean...
