Last Wednesday night the Sugar Network hosted a private screening of Sex and the City. Naturally the movie was followed by a fabulous fete. I helped plan the after party and now I'm going to share all of the wonderful details with you.

Thanks to Defamer for pointing me to the "Grey's Anatomy" gag reel, a set of three behind-the-scenes videos that have mysteriously appeared on YouTube. The videos are heavy on the inside jokes, with writers and backstage staff reenacting some classic "Grey's" scenes and generally poking fun at themselves. Unfortunately, parts 1 and 2 appear to have been taken down, so if you got to watch Katherine Heigl's fake on-set freakout, consider yourself lucky.
Meanwhile, if you hurry, you can still watch part 3, which includes a montage of drinking scenes (hint: there are a lot) and some writers' room antics with a cardboard cutout of Patrick Dempsey.
Yesterday Children of Men received a number of Oscar nominations, including Achievements in Cinematography and Film Editing, both of which I think are fully deserved. Director Alfonso Cuaron has been lauded for the complicated, highly-choreographed scenes in the film that were shot without interruption — particularly a battle scene in which Clive Owen and four others are riding in a car and an angry mob descends upon them.
So I was excited to find a very cool behind-the-scenes clip that explains how they pulled off the remarkable sequence.
