Jul 16 2008 - 11:15am Being a big
Red Vines and Twizzlers fan, I was excited to find out that
Hershey's brand Y&S Candies was debuting a new line of "grownup," bite-sized soft candy,
Young & Smylie licorice ($2.99). The licorice is sold in a resealable plastic bag, which locks in the candy's moisture and keeps it soft. Another thing I enjoyed about the packaging was the "licorice lore" on the back: Did you know that the licorice plant Glycyrrhiza, belongs to the pea or bean family?

Peach mango licorice sounds a bit strange, but these look so beautiful, I want to eat them up right now. Thanks for the review, Yum!
1I'm a black licorice fan all the way - all the other flavors just don't appeal to me.
2Yum, I want some now!
3Not a big licorice fan but these actually look like they may be good
4I wanna try where can I find theses? any specific stores that carry it?

I have to try these..
6i saw it at safeway and it was new. i forgot to take it out of the cart when at the check out line. the mango one tastes really good!
7I really don't like black licorice.
8Traditional black licorice is my favorite...the more robust the molasses flavor, the better! Strawberry is a far second, no mango anything for me. The too-sweet, floral undertones don't appeal. Definitely the black licorice!
9I'll have to go find a bag of these. I love licorice in all sorts of flavors.
I think the kookaburra kind with the super black licorice-y taste is by far the best.
10I love, love, love Young & Smylie black licorice. I was not even a licorice fan until recently. The tradition licorice strips cannot even begin to compare the the more grown up taste and texture of Y&S
