If you're fishing for compliments, you may want to check out this Goldfish Candy Dish ($27.99). It's made from thick walled glass and rests on your counter or desktop. I think it looks fun full of goldfish crackers, but other than that, it's not reeling me in.

Half the fun of trick-or-treating is the bartering that takes place after you've gone door to door. I remember sitting on the kitchen floor with my siblings or friends and saying, "I'll trade you my Snickers for your Milky Ways." Besides Milky Way, I was especially fond of Nerds, Junior Mints, and Airheads.

We never had much candy in my house when I was growing up, as my parents wanted to encourage us to eat healthy as much as possible. Every October, I would count down the days to Halloween, when I knew I'd be going trick-or-treating. I looked forward to all candy, but in particular, I loved Baby Ruth bars.

The month of October isn't just about candy, pumpkins, and captivating costumes; it also happens to be National Vegetarian Month. With more awareness than ever about the health, economic, and environmental benefits of vegetarianism, the number of people going veggie is on the rise.
Regardless of whether you've been a longtime vegetarian, a recession flexitarian, or plan to stay put as an omnivore, there's an abundance of vegetarian dishes so satisfying that you won't feel the need to make separate menus.

Behind Valentine's Day and Christmas, Halloween is the third biggest candy-selling holiday of the year. For kids, trick-or-treating makes Halloween one of the year's best holidays; for adults, Halloween is an occasion to buy scrumptious sweets.
I've already purchased Reese's peanut butter cups, because they're my cutie's favorite.
