I'm not much of a gambler, but I must admit, part of the lure of the casino is the ladies and gents handing out free drinks and meals. It's not a true casino experience if you don't have a free drink in hand. Yet, this may end for the folks — and tourists — in Atlantic City.

After a brief hiatus with last week's Fabio-hosted reunion dinner, we went back to Vegas — and into Padma's hotel room — for this week's episode of Top Chef.
The final six chefs started things off by cooking breakfast in bed for their fearless hostess and her celebrity chef friend Nigella Lawson. For the elimination challenge, each contestant created a dish for a party, drawing inspiration from different casinos on the strip.

From breakfast in bed to big top-inspired soup, last night's episode of Top Chef had the chefs cooking up some crazy casino-inspired dishes, but not everyone's gamble paid off.
Emotions were high, and, of course, someone went home. Did you get too wrapped up in the drama to pay attention to the details?

Entertaining is one of my favorite activities of all time, but as with all hobbies, it requires lots of thinking ahead and decision-making, from planning a prep schedule to coordinating the menu. In this series, I'll present a dish and ask you to share what you'd serve alongside it.
Here's the scenario: I've heard from PartySugar about how picturesque it is to picnic at the Hog Island Oyster Company Farm, so this weekend I'll be scoping it out for myself.

Although it doesn't begin until January 29th (at 9 p.m. on Fox), I've got the inside scoop on the participating contestants of Hell's Kitchen Season 5. Sixteen aspiring chefs will have the chance to win a "head chef" position at Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Last night on the Next Food Network Star the final three had to make a promotional commercial for their show and create an over the top buffet for Las Vegas performers. Former NFNS winner, Guy Fieri, coached the contestants and acted as the guest judge.
While each finalist ran into certain obstacles (Lisa burned her pork, Aaron bombed his introduction, and Adam went smoking crazy), I felt like the promos were totally unfair.
