Last week I had the chance to speak with
Food Network's
Guy Fieri. He's the host of three shows —
Guy's Big Bite,
Diners, Drive-ins, Dives, and
Guy Off the Hook — and winner of the
Next Food Network Star season two. Filming keeps him incredibly busy, but in his spare time, the celebrity chef — who prefers hot dogs to hamburgers and mustard to ketchup — continues to experiment in the kitchen.

It's not surprising that Emma Bunton was full of smiles after she appeared on ITV's For One Night Only yesterday, as she's got lots of exciting projects on the go. Emma will be spicing up
The X Factor as part of Dannii Minogue's team,
helping the Australian judge choose her three over-25 acts for the live shows from the comfort of Dannii's St Tropez hideaway. Kimberley Walsh is joining Cheryl, Sinitta is there for Simon, and Westlife's Shane Filan has been announced as Louis's helper, while an ITV spokeswoman has also confirmed
Britney will perform on the show.

Little girls who look up to
Giada De Laurentiis and
Rachael Ray can now play kitchen with the
I Can Be TV Chef Playset Barbie ($44.90). Barbie is the star of her own cooking show, complete with a state-of-the-art kitchen and workstation. She shows that even while cooking, one should look stylish and fashionable.

In a deal between
Fox and star chef
Gordon Ramsay, the chef has signed on for at least two more seasons of
Hell's Kitchen and
Kitchen Nightmares, a live cooking special, and — get this — yet another series.
Ramsay's third show will be based on his current British series Man Camp, a sort of
boot camp for men, who are put through physical and intellectual challenges.
The live cooking special will encourage "young, vibrant, and tenacious" viewers to cook a meal with the chef at home.

Emma Bunton and her partner Jade Jones joined a whole host of chefs at the Grosvenor House Hotel last night for the London Restaurant Awards. It looks like the slim Spice Girl's kept up her ballroom and Latin moves since appearing on
Strictly Come Dancing — perhaps she had a chat with John Torode, who wore a rather splendid scarf, about appearing on
Celebrity Masterchef? Emma also cuddled up to that show's most recent winner, Atomic Kitten's Liz McClarnon, who will be
presenting a four part cooking series for GMTV.

Guess which celebrity chef was teaching tennis star
Andy Roddick all of her cooking secretos?

As I've mentioned before,
I'm a big fan of cookery shows, so I'm very excited about the return of
The Restaurant on BBC Two this evening. For those of you who didn't watch the first series, esteemed chef Raymond Blanc offers nine couples the chance to open their own restaurant with his backing. He has two inspectors to help him decide who's performing and who's not, with Sarah Willingham advising on the business side and David Moore checking out front of house.

We've been hearing lots of rumours about who's signed up to appear on the next series of Strictly Come Dancing, with the latest recruits being footballer
Teddy Sheringham and ex-S Club singer
Rachel Stevens plus Lisa Snowdon. They join
Jodie Kidd, Heather Small and Gary Rhodes on the list of rumoured contestants, along with Eastenders' Honey
Emma Barton and
Melanie Sykes. While we wait for the
official BBC announcement at the end of next week, I want to know your thoughts, so tell me: which of these rumoured contestants would you most like to see on the show?
