On Friday we introduced you to our exciting Design and Win Flip HD Mino contest and now here's one we designed to help give you some inspiration. You all know how much we love our yummy creations, so what better way to decorate the video camera than with one of our favorite treats! Check out our design and get started on creating your own now.

All you have to do is go to the site, design your own Flip with a photo or design of your choice, and email it to us at flipcontest@sugarinc.com! The next few weeks we'll be showing you cameras designed by our different editors to get the ball rolling. The contest runs from Dec 12-26 and the finalists posted on geek Dec. 29. Winners will be announced Dec. 31.

It's the perfect way to kick of 2009 with a brand new toy to document all your adventures.

Here's how:
1. Go to TheFlip.com to get started.

2. Browse the design gallery, upload your own photo, or use the pattern generator to make your Flip camcorder unique and personal.

3. Once you have completed your design, click on the envelope icon at the bottom of the tool and email your design to flipcontest@sugarinc.com. That's it!

Wouldn't you love to have all of your favorite recipes bound in one fabulous, personalized cookbook? Just in time for the holidays, we're partnering with TasteBook to give away two custom-made recipe books in the month of December. TasteBook is an online service that lets you create a personalized book of recipes. You can search the site's database (with recipes from countless professional sources like Epicurious, Food and Wine, and Better Homes and Gardens) or upload your family's favorites. You select 100 recipes, then TasteBook prints them out, binds them in a book, and sends you the finished product! If you don't have time to choose your own recipes, you can choose from a variety of already-made collections.

Pop singer John Mayer, a guy whose not afraid to say what he needs to say, wants everyone to get in the holiday spirit. How should they show their seasonal cheer? By baking a cake. On his personal blog, Mayer has announced his holiday cake contest:

I will debut my first of several festive holiday cakes this Saturday night. I invite everyone reading this to join me in the simple joy of expression through baking, and to send me photos of your delicious creations. You think I'm crazy now, but once you apply the last dollop of frosting, or that finishing touch of icing, you'll understand that there's just no hiding from the feeling.

Mayer will choose the most beautiful cake and reward the baker with an autographed guitar. It's always fun to see a high profile celebrity show an interest in the culinary world and he's right: baking is a great way to get in the holiday spirit!
