It may seem like a no-brainer, but if you're hosting a party (any kind that involves food) get in the habit of checking the dishwasher before the the soiree starts. Parties always generate a lot of dirty dishes, and the last thing you need after a night of wining and dining is a sink full of dirty dishes. It's also a good idea to take out take out the trash and recycling before the event begins.

Kym Douglas and Cindy Pearlman, authors of The Black Book of Hollywood Diet Secrets, appeared on The Early Show this morning to give away some of their secrets. While they mostly spilled the beans on diet tips, there was one thing that stood out to me: dishwasher salmon. That's right I said dishwasher.

Either the people at Part Select — an online part store for major appliances — want to show you what you can do with your dishwasher, or they're hoping you'll do it and break it in the process. At least, that is what I assume was the logic behind their recipe for Dishwasher Lasagna Florentine. That's right, you make the lasagna in a dishwasher.
