Italy's Fashion Houses Pay Tribute to Coca-Cola

Milan's 2010 Spring Fashion Week just came to a close, and in addition to revealing their latest collections, Italy's premiere fashion houses also partnered with Coca-Cola to raise funds for earthquake victims in Abruzzo, Italy.

Female designers Donatella Versace, Alberta Ferretti, Angela Missoni, Anna Molinari for Blumarine, Veronica Etro, Silvia Venturini for Fendi, Consuelo Castiglioni for Marni, and Rossella Jardini for Moschino dressed up Coca-Cola Light's trademark clear bottle for sale at an auction during Milan's "Tribute to Fashion" show.

I like them all, but my hands-down favorite is the iconic woven Missoni design, followed closely by the Moschino milk parody and Blumarine's flirty fruit pattern. To see each bottle, read more.

Christian Louboutin Champagne: Love It or Hate It?

From logo lollipops to stylish cupcakes, the merging of fashion and food isn't new. What I haven't seen, however, is a Champagne glass shaped like a shoe! Designed by famed shoe maker Christian Louboutin, this glass slipper was created to coincide with the launch of the brand's own Champagne. In partnership with Piper Heidsieck, the bubbly and shoe are available for a limited time at Colette in Paris, starting Oct. 26. I think both the bottle and glass are incredibly sexy and would love to get my hands on the set! How about you?

Padma Lakshmi Brings Fashion and Food Together

Last night as a part of Fashion's Night Out, Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour's event to stimulate the economy, Bergdorf Goodman threw a Top Chef style cookoff in its seventh floor restaurant. Fashion designers Cynthia Rowley, Edward Bess, Gilles Mendel, Lela Rose, Naeem Kahn, and Peter Som created recipes, and Padma Lakshmi, clad in a leather minidress, hosted the event. Although the place was packed, the gorgeous Padma kept the chatty crowd under control. The designer's dishes - Som's fried oysters with blood orange gastrique and tartar sauce sounds divine! - were passed around for partygoers to try.

Christian Siriano to Collaborate With Starbucks

Starbucks' free pastry promotion may be over - but the coffee chain's slated to announce even more exciting news.

New York magazine reports that Project Runway winner Christian Siriano has plans to unveil a partnership with Starbucks for the upcoming holiday season.

Because further details about the collaboration have not yet been released - and news organizations have been barred from reporting them until Nov. 17 - we're left with nothing to work with but a wild imagination. Are fierce uniforms with avante-garde shoulders on the Starbucks horizon? Stay tuned.

Peter Som Cooks Up Sweet Designs in the Kitchen

What happens when a renowned fashion designer trades the runway for a kitchen? Just ask Peter Som, who recently ditched his stylish suits in favor of chef whites.

Som, who is known for effortlessly chic womenswear, attended a Saturday morning cooking class led by Adour Alain Ducasse pastry chef Sandro Micheli. There, the Manhattan-based designer told Women's Wear Daily about his home-baking hobby and affinity for cooking. "I watch Food Network like it's [the only thing on] TV," he said, adding, "I used to bring pies to the office. I can't eat them all myself."

The class was difficult for even the most advanced of home cooks: "Wow, he's intense," Som said of his teacher.

Within two hours, the 10 students had created madeleines, financiers, chouquettes, chocolate chip cookies, pâtés de fruit à la fraise, and absinthe-flavored marshmallows. I've long been an enthusiast of Som's designs, but had no idea that he joins the likes of Kate Winslet and Mandy Moore in his culinary affinities. Are you a fan of any other celebrities who cook?

Designer-Inspired Cupcakes: Love It or Hate It?

We've seen logo lollipops and Rebecca Taylor-designed cupcakes, and now High Snobiety points us to a new series of fashionable pastries, designed by stylist Lisa Edsalv and photographed by Therese Aldgard. The cupcakes are inspired by the classic colors and signature design elements of runway designers such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Christian Louboutin, and Betsey Johnson. Padma Lakshmi's Jewelry Line Debuts Tomorrow

Model. Top Chef hostess. Cookbook author. Now Indian beauty and culinary world darling, Padma Lakshmi can add jewelry designer to her résumé. Her high-end (prices range from $300-6,000) namesake collection of gold jewels debuts tomorrow at Bergdorf Goodman in New York City and I've got a sneak preview! The line combines Padma's love for food and fashion.

She was inspired by cardamom, lentils, and cloves: "In hunting for the most precious spices, I found the shapes of seeds and pods exquisite, a purity of proportion and form that had an inherent sensuality to them." Entitled "Padma" the collection consists of 40 pieces including rings, bracelets, necklaces, and earrings. I'm a fan of bohemian gold jewelry and if I could afford it, I might purchase of one Padma's pieces. What do you think of her designs?

MTV's new House of Style debuted over the weekend and with it a fun segment on hosting a dinner party. Since I'm always on the lookout for fabulous new ways to make my soirees more stylish, I tuned in. Fashion designer Erin Fetherston shared five tips for creating the ultimate dinner. While Fetherston obviously doesn't cook, her ideas are festive and fun. To find out what they are and check out a video of her dinner, read more.

Choose your theme. Fetherston's is "Enchanted," a whimsical fairy tale.
It can be simple - ask everyone to wear a fun hat.
Design your decor. You know I'm all about creating a look for a party and I love how Fetherston uses rose petals and candles to transform her house from everyday to party day.
Create homemade favors. I want to know how Fetherston made the sparkly animal masks!
Select your menu. Well, of course it's a dinner party.
Enjoy! This is my favorite tip. It's the most important thing to remember when throwing a party; if you're not having fun, don't host one.

Fashion Logo Lollipops: Love It or Hate It?

Are you a sucker for high-end fashion brands? I am and I'm not afraid to admit that yes, I covet the classic quilted Chanel handbag with interlocking C logo. However, I'm not sure how I feel about these logo lollipops. Artist Massimo Gammacurta created these designer suckers (that come in a variety of flavors) based on the symbolic initials of the world's most luxurious brands.

What do you think of these outrageous pops? Do you prefer caramel Yves Saint Laurent or grape Gucci?
