Lately I've noticed a lot of jewelry that looks like food, or takes its inspiration from food. In fact, I've seen so much of it, that I thought I would do a full A to Z of food-inspired jewelry. Last week we ran it as a 5 part series, but I thought you might be interested in seeing it all as one big list. Today's food-inspired jewelry, covers the letters P through T and includes a special request from PartySugar. We're starting things off with the coveted Marc Jacobs Pear Watch Pendant (as PS requested), it's stylish, fun and fruity. I'd love to own it, but think I'd actually prefer the "queso" bracelet. The other day FabSugar tipped me off to a pair of earrings shaped like caviar. I thought they were pretty interesting, but I also passed it off as part of the "food jewelry" trend. Have you noticed how easy it is to find jewelry shaped like little edible items? Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of wearing donuts around your necklace (hey, it's better than your waistline!), however the whole idea seems a bit wild.
