Earlier this year, Dr Pepper announced that it would be giving a free soda to "everyone in America"
Guns 'n' Roses album Chinese Democracy, 17 years in the works, arrived anytime in 2008. This Sunday, Nov. 23, the agonizing wait will finally be over, and the people will have their Chinese Democracy — as well as a free Dr Pepper.

Tomorrow, I'll be finding several ways to celebrate being an American. Obviously, I'm hitting up
PartySugar and LibertySugar's election-night bash, but beforehand I'll cash in on some free food.
Present your "I Voted" sticker at
Krispy Kreme and receive a
sprinkle-studded, star-shaped doughnut at no cost.

We love Slashfood so much that every Thursday we round up their most delicious stories. Here are this week's finds:

When it comes to the World Series, it seems everyone is rooting for a different team, but there's one thing that all of America can get behind: free
tacos.
Mexican fast food chain
Taco Bell's "Steal a Base, Steal a Taco" campaign is
back again this year. The promotion, which the
fast food chain first launched last year, gives out free Crunchy Seasoned Beef Tacos to all customers if and when a player from any team during any game captures the first stolen base of the 2008 World Series.

Natural and organic supermarket
Whole Foods really wants to be there for you during tough times. In fact, the retailer wants to give you a deal so badly that it's posted a printable online
coupon for $5 off.
The discount is part of a new Whole Foods value guide called the Whole Deal.

To promote their new coffee-flavored smoothies,
Smoothie King is giving away 20-ounce Coffee- and Mo'cuccino-flavored smoothies through 10:30 a.m. today.
It would be a smooth move to run to the blender master
closest to you, 'cause the offer is for this morning only.

To promote the start of college football season and the inaugural
Chick-fil-A College Kickoff game,
Chick-fil-A is giving away its new and improved (that is, larger) Chick-n-Strips for free on Labor Day, Sept.1.
The catch? While you don't have to get
decked out in a cow suit, the deal only stands for customers who show up wearing football team attire.

To commemorate their 30th anniversary, the
Cheesecake Factory will be lowering the price of cheesecake. When the first Factory opened in Beverly Hills in 1978, a piece of cheesecake was only $1.50. Tomorrow, (which also happens to be
National Cheesecake Day) the restaurant chain will offer cheesecake at its original ($1.50) price!

To celebrate cow appreciation day, the fast food chain
Chick-fil-A is
giving away free combo meals tomorrow. To score a free meal, you have to go into the restaurant dressed like a cow from head to, er, hoof. If you dress as only a partial bovine beauty then you'll score a free entree instead.

Tomorrow the fast-food chain
Jack in the Box is
giving away free tacos. All you have to do is bring in an old gas receipt and Jack in the Box will give you not one, but two free tacos!
The the tacos are free because "it's getting more expensive to fill your gas tank" so they're "giving you a little help with filling your stomach."
