If you enjoy preparing snapper for dinner, you could also prepare it in the dish you see below. What's it called?

Although he'd just given President Obama a lesson on grilling steaks, Bobby Flay was back on the burger track at his seminar in Aspen, where, like fellow Iron Chef Michael Symon, he had plenty of his own venting to do. "I've never met a vegetarian burger that I like," he declared, as he wowed the crowd with a Cheyenne burger (barbecue sauce, bacon, cheddar, and onion rings), garlic-parsley bistro fries, and a chocolate milkshake. "And I can't stand a cheeseburger that's not fully melted."

Lately fast food chain Jack in the Box has been getting a lot of publicity. First there was the ad campaign — that debuted at the Super Bowl — in which its brand's fictitious face, Jack, was hit by a bus. Although Jack lies in a coma, the company asked consumers to show their support by enjoying free curly fries and free tacos.

Jack in the Box wants you to show your support — and in return, you'll get free curly fries.
The fast food chain's latest advertising campaign, which first aired during this year's Super Bowl, depicts its fictitious CEO "Jack Box" character (yes, the one with the ping-pong head) being struck by a bus. Jack in the Box is now asking you to "show your support for Jack and enjoy some fries."

Sweet potato fries are totally having a moment. They're a more festive alternative to regular russet potatoes and don't necessarily have to be fried. This particular variation is baked in the oven and are seasoned with a soy chili oil before being placed in a pan.

What if I told you that you could make the perfect French fries with only a spoonful of any oil? You'd probably tell me that I was crazy and that I should stop dreaming. Well, it's time to wake up, because the folks at Tefal have actually come up with a device that allows you to do just that.

We've got a minor french fry problem here at the Sugar HQ. At least once a week someone will announce "french fries in the front." I'm not totally sure how they end up in the office (although there are rumors of house elves interns grudgingly forced to run across the street to the nearest french fry vendor), but I usually end up partaking in a fry or ten.

As if you needed an excuse to enjoy deep-fried thighs and drumsticks, yesterday was National Fried Chicken Day! To honor America's favorite poultry preparation — which is served at breakfast with waffles, at picnics with coleslaw, or just straight out of a paper bucket — I thought I'd test your familiarity with America's most famed fried chicken outfit, Kentucky Fried Chicken. What do you know about KFC — besides the fact that it's finger-lickin' good?
