Make a Face Halloween Pancake Molds: Love It or Hate It?

I love the idea of creating fun food for Halloween, but I'm not too crazy about these pancake molds ($14.99). I don't really eat pancakes and the faces are scary! If I was a little kid, I wouldn't want to eat mean jack-o'-lantern pancakes.

What do you think? Are the molds fabulous or freaky?

This summer popsicles are all the rage. While YumSugar's been experimenting with them for weeks now, I have yet to join her on this icy adventure. The reason I haven't made popsicles is because I don't own any popsicle molds. However, I'm dying to whip up some fabulous frozen treats, so can you help me find some popsicle molds? This weekend the Internet went wild over a new breakfast tool. Actually it's not so much a tool as it is an unnecessary accessory. If your breakfast needs a bit more bang! then check out these Gun Egg Fryers. They're stainless steel molds designed to help you shape your fried eggs. So, while you're waiting for the next Grand Theft Auto release, you can get your gun fix over breakfast.

S-XL Cake Mold: Love It or Hate It?

When I first saw this S-XL baking pan, I thought it was pretty cool. It's a silicone mold that pre shapes any cake into fifteen separate, different sized slices. It allows one person to have a small piece and another to have a large piece. Yet, the more I thought about it, the more I disliked it. It won't really work for any cake; what happens to the indentations when you frost it? Actually, with the uneven layers, can you even frost it? What do you think?

I've been infatuated with Valentine's Day all week and today is no different. You aided me in my romantic fascination by saving your sweetly sappy foodie finds in the Yum Market on TeamSugar. How could I not share a few of the best ones with you all???

TNgirl found the cutest heart fondue set at the reasonable price of $15. I like how it's portable and only needs a candle, excellent for the on-go-gal. Oh and the two metal fondue forks with hearts on the end are absolutely adorable.

No Valentine's Day would be complete without a box of chocolates, right? Brown_Sugar's suggestion of temptation truffles by Godiva is making my mouth water. Who needs a man when you can eat these while sipping a glass of pink champagne??

In your attempt to get organized in the New Year, perhaps I can interest you in this birthday cake mold. Not only does it save you the time and effort of having to write "Happy Birthday John Doe," but the microwave-safe silicon mold - heatproof up to 300ºF - has a recipe embossed on the rim for a cake that's ready in a mere six minutes! Procrastinators may think it's worth the $39.50 price tag, but I wonder whether traditionalists will miss spelling out "Happy Birthday" in loopy pink icing.

Off To Market Recap: Cake Mold

It's my grandfather's birthday this week and I'm in charge of making him a fabulous cake. I've never baked with a cake mold, but they're super trendy right now, and I thought it would be fun to experiment. Unfortunately, I don't own a single cake mold so I asked you to help me find one. You searched the web for a dishwasher-safe cake mold with a creative and original shape. You saved them in the Yum Market on TeamSugar with the keyword tag Cake Mold.

Some of the choices are better for little kids, so for my grandfather I'd like to use this fun cascade shaped pan. Aimeeb bookmarked this under $30 pan.

Now that I have the pan, I'll have to figure out how to decorate the cake. This shape lends itself to an endless number of possibilities, does anyone have any suggestions?
