Yesterday we brought you a fun little video of Bobby Flay making sandwiches, and today we've got his tips for crafting the best 'wich! While Flay is known for his superior grill skills, he's also a sponsor for Best Foods mayonnaise and a master of sandwich making. Here's how the Iron Chef recommends building a better sandwich:
- When a sandwich contains several moist ingredients (mayonnaise, tomatoes, etc), use a thick, crusty bread like ciabatta.
- When putting together a simple sandwich with fewer ingredients, like ham and cheese, select thinly sliced bread.

Meet Sting, Grammy-winning singer, songwriter — and organic farmer.
Last night at a town theater in Figline Valdarno, Italy, the rock star opened up about his 300-hectare Tuscan estate, which includes a 100 percent organic farm. There, he produces extra virgin olive oil, chestnut and acacia honey, fruits, vegetables, jam, salami, and other food products that are popular among fellow Tuscans.

Earlier this week I had the pleasure of meeting Tito Beveridge, the creator of Tito's vodka. Before meeting Tito, I'd never heard of the Texas-based American vodka company. However, I was impressed with Tito's ambition — before getting into the spirits business, he was a geophysicist, oil driller, and mortgage broker — and pleasantly surprised by his vodka's pure, bite-free flavor.

Saving the planet, one glass at a time. This is the slogan for 360 Vodka an "eco-luxury" vodka. Although the vodka is distilled four times and then filtered five, it uses an energy-efficient process and creates very little waste.

At first glance you may think, wow what's with the up-side-down wine glasses? But look a little closer and you'll notice that these are not, in fact wine glasses. No that's not a ruby Pinot Noir and a yellow-y Chardonnay; it's actually red wine vinegar and extra virgin olive oil.

When YumSugar and I were trend watching at the Fancy Food Show earlier this week, I was really into tasting all of the wines and liquors. Ok I was really into tasting just about everything, but I was paying special attention to anything that would make my next party super duper fabulous (yummy international wines, infused and organic vodkas, martini glasses shrunken to the size of a shot glass, etc). While there, I was lucky enough to meet John, a handsome fellow with sandy colored hair who was pouring tastings of his Kono Marlborough Pinot Noir from New Zealand.
