When Oprah declared that she would stop eating organic blue corn tortilla chips in favor of sweet potato chips, little did she know that the food industry was one step ahead of her. In December Oprah Winfrey publicized her weight gain, admitting that she's put on 40 pounds in the past couple of months. Among other things, the powerful talk show host is blaming organic, multigrain blue chips for packing on the pounds.
"My drug of choice used to be potato chips," she said.

When I read that Oprah is going vegan as part of a 21-day cleanse, I thought: I could do that — if I had a personal chef! When well-prepared, vegan food can be quite delicious, and I've had some great gourmet meals at vegan restaurants.
But it's definitely a challenging way to eat, so I'd rather have someone cook it for me.

Can I See Some ID?
In a recent survey conducted by The Nielsen Company on behalf of Anheuser-Busch, 95% of American adults think that, while inconvenient, ID checking is a worthwile way to reduce underage drinking. The survey was taken to determine how people view the effectiveness of ID checking. The survey also discovered that 94% of the people think that those who sell alcohol should be trained to spot fake IDs.
