Perrier Gets a Fashionable Makeover From Paul & Joe

Coveted sparkling-water label Perrier has joined forces with the popular French fashion house Paul & Joe to launch a limited-edition collection of bottles and cans. Set to be released this Summer, the three-piece collection is undeniably chic with fun and festive prints. Paul & Joe's designer Sophie Albou is extremely excited about the partnership. She states:

Perrier is well known throughout the world and it's also a French drink, just as Paul & Joe is a French brand. On top of that, Perrier evokes freshness, which is the key word for Paul & Joe - it's the perfect combination!

Known for their innovative ad campaigns and ingenious packaging, Perrier has been around since 1793. There are three designs to choose from: an adventurous safari-inspired motif; a retro gold print; and a classic French lady. Bocuse d'Or Announces Superstar Judge Lineup

The panel of judges for next month's Bocuse d'Or - the Olympics of the culinary world - were announced last Friday. Many of the judges, such as Laurent Tourondel and Jean-Georges Vongerichten, hail from New York, which makes me wonder if the giants of the gastronomic world really do believe that New York is the center of the culinary universe.

As if the list of uber-chef judges isn't intimidating enough, Paul Bocuse, the French founder of the competition will be on hand to observe and officiate.

The semifinals, which take place on September 26 and 27 in Orlando, determine which two of the contenders will represent the US in the Bocuse d'Or finals. To see the complete list of judges, read more.

The Look: Emmys Governor Ball

The Emmys are this Sunday and the decorating committee is hard at work preparing for the Art Deco themed after party. The look for the post show Governor's Ball is an elegant black and white color scheme that drips of old Hollywood glamour.

The dinner menu -created by chef Joachim Splichal of Los Angeles' Patina restaurant - starts off with a tomato, cucumber, mango, and Dungeness crab tower with a sweet ginger soy reduction sauce. It's followed by a filet mignon and wine braised shortribs aside potatoes fondant and asparagus. Dessert is a milk chocolate mousse with a Champagne gelee served in a dark chocolate cup garnished with fresh berries and cherry vanilla cake. As for the drinks, Voss water, Grey Goose vodka, and Laurent-Perrier Champagne will be served.
