I've said it before and I'll say it again: I love dips! I'm kinda obsessed with making them and even more addicted to trying out new recipes. A couple of weeks ago when I was browsing the Macy's Come Together recipe section, I came across this interesting recipe for shrimp dip.

The other day I had a couscous salad with roasted vegetables and feta cheese for lunch. While it was wonderfully satisfying in taste, in texture, it severely lacked crunch. That's why I had to enjoy some salty crackers on the side.

Pringles might be nicknamed "crack in a cardboard tube," but in the eyes of the UK government, they are still considered potato chips.
Last year, a UK judge ruled that because Pringles contains less than 50 percent potato and is formed into an artificial shape, it's not a chip, and therefore isn't subject to the 15 percent country's value-added tax. But in a major defeat for Pringles parent company P&G, this ruling was overturned, and the corporation must fork over approximately £100 million, or $159 million, in taxes.

The other day when I went to purchase chips for a barbecue, I was surprised to see a new flavor on the supermarket shelves. Although some people may find it crazy, I celebrate my half birthday every year — hey, they don't call me PartySugar for nothing! Since a half birthday party should never be more elaborate than your real birthday, I'm hosting an intimate oyster picnic. A group of my closest friends will join me for an afternoon at the Hog Island Oyster Company Farm.

When Oprah declared that she would stop eating organic blue corn tortilla chips in favor of sweet potato chips, little did she know that the food industry was one step ahead of her. Healthier, alternative snack chips were a huge trend at last weekend's Fancy Foods Show. With names like Corazonas and Yuka, these chips have South American roots.

In my larder, Kettle Chips are a regularly stocked item. My guy and I eat so many of the thick-cut, ultracrunchy, gourmet-flavored Death Valley Chipotle and Backyard Barbecue bags that I've tried, several times, to put a moratorium on any Kettle Chips in the house. You can probably guess how successful I was.

The other day a friend, who recently got back from Armenia, told me about a delicious treat she experienced on her trip. At first I was a little grossed out when she described the potato chip, mozzarella, and ketchup nachos. However, I took her word for it and decided to make my own.
