The sixth season of Top Chef started with a bang last night. The competition is full of heavily tattooed contestants who are eager to display their culinary prowess. The return of Tom, Gail, and Padma was refreshing and who knew Wolfgang Puck was so funny?!

After a week hiatus, Top Chef Masters was back last night with Douglas Rodriguez, John Besh, Anita Lo, and Mark Peel competing for their respective charities. Eggs, magic, Tom Colicchio, and Doogie Howser played supporting roles. Did you watch?

If you're a foodie with access to BBC America (or BBC regular), then you've probably caught an episode of Last Restaurant Standing. The reality show pits couples — many with little or no professional cooking experience — against each other as they compete to open a restaurant. The BBC version is hosted by Raymond Blanc, a two-star Michelin chef and food personality.
