Last week, Party and I were talking soufflés. We both love to eat them, but she's made them before, and I still haven't. I told her that making this delicately baked dish — which requires a lot of attention to detail — is on my long list of culinary New Year's resolutions.

Thanksgiving leftovers can sometimes be too much of a good thing. Tons of turkey meat and side dishes can be great, but not if they mean eating uninspired leftovers with monotonous flavors. Thankfully, there's loads you can do with leftovers beyond pot pie, sandwiches, and chili.

Looks like I'm not the only one who is crazy about dulce de leche. Julie has created this scrumptious chocolate soufflé filled with the creamy caramel goodness! Since I can't get enough DDL, I am definitely making this for the holidays.

I'm going to spend the weekend at a girlfriend's beach house. To thank her for hosting me, I want to give her a new cookbook. Technically she's a pescaterian, but I think she would benefit from a book that focuses on vegetarian cuisine.
