I like them both. Sometimes I'm in the mood for McDonald's (even if the chicken nuggets are made from baby chicks) and other times, I want something healthier like a six-inch turkey on honey
wheat with mayo and American cheese and a bag of Harvest Cheddar SunChips. I'm actually going to Subway tonight for dinner...
Sounds good to me Other than the sodium content, Subway isn't bad! I actually crave
a sandwich these days. Yes, a simple sandwich, but somehow Subway's always tastes better, especially with the sweet onion sauce. Yeah, I think I'm hooked on Subway!
i love subway. this makes sense though. think about how much more expensive it is to start up a mcdonalds vs a subway. at mcd's, you need a fryer, grill, drive thru, etc. at subway, all you
need is a microwave and a bread oven.
Subway restaurants are a lot cheaper to open and run. They might have more locations than McDonald's someday, but I doubt they will ever surpass them in sales though.
I will always choose McDonald's over Subway. I don't like cold cuts and I find that even the simplest homemade sandwich will always taste better than a Subway sub. I also find that their subs
are overpriced.
Well I believe the whole subway surpassing mcd's in locations. There are five Subways within a 1-4 mile radius of my parents home where as only 2 mcd's within the same.
But to choose between, I'd prefer healthy Subway over McD's, but sometimes I hear a Big Mac calling my name . . . until I drive by an InNOut.
I can get an absolutely whopping footlong loaded turkey sub at Subway for 580 calories - darn right I prefer Subway!
But I very much agree with the first poster - their cold cuts need to be much lower in sodium. You'll be drinking all day after eating there. They should adjust it - people who want a lot of
salt can always grab the shaker.
I travel the world fairly regularly, and for the past decade I've been in quite a few east Asian and European countries, as well as India. Subway's popping up lots of places! Their shops are
usually smaller than McD's, but they seem pretty active to me. Both chains are working to make their menus attractive to the locals; including beer in Zurich, and lots of veggie choices in
places like China and Taiwan.

5If I'm ever forced to eat fast food, I prefer Subway. There's a big selection of healthy stuff that I can eat there. McDonald's is a bit more limited.
