Before the Super Bowl begins, take some time to make the atmosphere in your living room comfortable and inviting. Select party decorations in your team's colors. Since I'm cheering on the underdogs (the Arizona Cardinals), my color scheme is black, red, and white.

When I think of the Super Bowl one drink comes to mind: beer. If you have a large crowd coming, consider getting a keg of your favorite beer. A keg should be ordered several days in advance and picked up the morning of the game.

The ideal dessert for Super Bowl is something that can be made in advance: that way you won't miss a minute of the game! I prefer a deliciously decadent dessert that can be consumed without the aid of a knife and fork. Rich chocolate brownies with a layer of peanut butter frosting and chocolate ganache are so scrumptious they're sinful!

After nachos, my second most beloved party food is dip. I like dips because they are generally easy to make and impart a wonderful casualness to an affair. There's no better time to experiment with a new dip recipe than Super Bowl Sunday.

I wasn't sure what sipper I'd be serving on Super Bowl Sunday — that is, until I set foot at the bar of this year's Food Fête. I hadn't planned on drinking that Monday night, but at the Patrón bartender's request, I took a sip of his drink.
The cocktail was edgy, not too strong, and the perfect balance of sour and sweet.

Nachos are one of my all-time favorite foods. The crunchy chips, the melted cheese, the gooey toppings — I love everything about nachos. I'm so crazy about nachos that back in 2008, I created an original series that chronicled my love affair with them.

Although I do enjoy football, I really think of Super Bowl Sunday as an excuse to go all out with a dazzling array of dips. I make a few from scratch, like buffalo chicken and nacho cheese, and I also buy a few for the sake of convenience. So when I recently received some Stonemill Kitchens spreads and dips, I couldn't wait to see if they made the cut for my massive Super Bowl spread.
