Messy Tablecloth: Love It or Hate It?

This morning, a friend of mine sent me the link to this Messy tablecloth by Polish group AZE design. The plain white tablecloth is embroidered with outlines of plates, cutlery, a cheese board, serving spoons, and more. I think it would be fun to try and put dishes in the right place - except for maybe that spilled wine glass - but I don't know if I'd actually use it as my main tablecloth. What do you think? Would you use it?

Easy Party Tip: Hide Stuff Under The Table

Wondering what to do with all of that extra party stuff you might need easy access to during the event? A space will quickly look cluttered when unused napkins, plastic cups, bottles of wine, etc. are left out. Yet with a simple solution, the problem can be solved in no time.

A few weeks ago, at the Sugar office party, I was running around enviously watching the caterers set up the party. During the set-up, I witnessed a great storage tip in action - one that I have used on multiple occasions - instead of leaving stuff out, they stored it under the table!

To solve your unsightly storage problem:

Use a very long, but elegant tablecloth in a color that matches the theme of your party.
Place all of the ugly extras under the table.
Hide with the tablecloth.

Voila! The room and your party instantly looks cleaner and more fabulous!

Before summer ends, my pal Jessie is off on a camping trip and she needs our help! Off To Market Recap: Outdoor Tablecloth

The outdoor eating season is finally upon us! I love summer, the hot weather, and eating outdoors. When the weather is gorgeous, I can't sit inside at the table, so I move everything outside for my favorite time of the day: dusk. Part of prepping for my summer routine is getting the patio dining table 100% ready for entertaining. I want to get a new tablecloth and I asked you to help me find one last week. The tablecloth needed to be durable, colorful, and fabulous. You saved the tablecloths in the Yum Market on TeamSugar with the keyword tag Outdoor Tablecloth. My favorite was discovered by SU3. It's an island reef tablecloth with muted colors that can easily be brightened up with fresh flowers and has a zipper so it can easily fit around my table.

My second favorite, a summery striped tablecloth, was saved by cravinsugar. The fabric is water repellent which is essential to outdoor entertaining.

Finally, I really love this pretty Hawaiian garden tablecloth's colors and distinctive double patterns. What I don't like about it is the white! I never use white tablecloths because they are so easily stainable. However, it's still a great find from Yum Market superstar SU3!

For the past two years I lived without a kitchen table. But, I've recently moved and I'm very excited because my new kitchen is big enough for a small table and four chairs! I found an amazing deal on Craigslist, and I'm the proud owner of a kitchen table. Now that I have a table, I want a pretty tablecloth. Thus, I've rounded up the best cheerful and Spring tablecloths the Internet has to offer. To share them with you, I bookmarked them in the Off to Market group in the YumSugar Community. I love eating outdoors. When the weather is gorgeous I can't sit inside at the table and so I move everything outside for my favorite time of the day: dusk.
