I'm not sure how it happened, but earlier this morning I ended up on a marshmallow gun hunt. They're sort of like a Nerf gun, but instead of soft, foamy Nerf balls, you get to shoot soft, fluffy - if not somewhat sticky - marshmallows. New Machine Turns Sushi Rolling Into Child's Play

While children in America continue to burn themselves on Easy Bake Ovens, the children in Japan are going burn-free. They might however, start giving off an odd fish odor.

Toymaker Bandai Namco has created a great new toy to help create perfectly rolled sushi. The Sushi-Rolling Machine works by adding rice and ingredients, and then sealing it up and rolling a piece of seaweed over it.

Personally, I think this would make a sushi party a snap. Imagine if you had a few stations and folks could roll their own?! They were released in Japan this summer, and I hope I can find one imported somewhere soon!

Twinkle in My Eye Cake

Let's face it, I'm a big kid at heart and I'm probably never going to grow up. That's why when I found this ridiculously cute felt tiered cake (and I mean ridiculously cute), I immediately squealed... outloud... just like a pig... (don't try and tell me that you didn't do the same). This adorable interactive cake includes over 50 "fondant" decorations and is made of 100% wool felt from Holland and upholstery foam. It's available from Twinkle Kids and costs $45. It's a little pricey for a toy, but having this in your collection would push any tea party into a whole new realm!

Yum Market Finds: Totally Unnecessary Kitchen Toys

As I was looking through the Yum Market I noticed some fabulous kitchen toys. I refer to them as kitchen toys because that's what they are. Sure they perform a specified function, but in all honesty you do not need these gadgets to survive in the kitchen. Still they're so much fun that I can't help but wish I had them to play with in my kitchen. The first one, found by arianell, is an Outdoor Artisan Pizza Oven - something I totally don't need but I really want. Jgasia posted one of her Christmas gifts, this Wine Chiller. I know, obviously nobody needs a wine chiller when they have a fridge that can do the job splendidly, but I told you these were toys. They're things we want, not something we need.

You won't believe the last one, the culinary toy that theotherhalfofme submitted. It's called The Margarator and blends mean margaritas right in your very own home. This marvelous machine will make you feel like you're on the beaches of Mexico! If anyone out there has one, please do tell us all how well it works.

Flippin' Mario Toy

In case your week needed a little bit more cheer, I'd like to present you with the Mario Batali Wind Up toy. Just turn the switch and watch him flip spaghetti and meatballs in one hand, shake a bottle in another while gliding across your countertop! I'm not sure exactly why or when he licensed his likeness for this funny little toy, but I sure am thrilled. I only wish I had known about this before Christmas as it would have made a great joke gift for quite a few foodies on my list. The Mario Batali Wind Up toy will set you back $14.95.

There's something really fun about having a pillow shaped like a huge hambone. This is thinking of the folks behind Sweet Meats, an online pillow creator and retailer. Their sweet meats are available in several different types - including hambone, porky chop, and racka ribs - and they even sell instructions on how to make your own. Personally I'm a big fan of the t-shirt. What meat lover wouldn't want a cute pink tee with the words "Meat is Sweet" ($14.99) emblazoned on it?
