I was flipping through the latest Pottery Barn catalog when I came across this Peacock Melamine Tray (was $19 now $12). On one hand I think it's lovely and I absolutely adore birds. On the other, there's something rustic about it that irritates me to no end.

In an attempt to cut costs and be more eco-chic, many college campuses have gotten rid of cafeteria trays. Instead, students are being forced to carry their meals on plates. The trayless cafeterias are seeing up to a 30 percent decrease in food waste, and with no trays to wash, the use of energy and water is reduced as well.

With the weather warming up, I've turned my attention to alfresco entertaining. Last weekend, I suggested my guests and I grab our cocktails and appetizers and head out to the patio. There was a lot to carry and on my third trip back to the kitchen, I couldn't help but wonder why I don't own a stylish serving tray?

This barbecue tray with veins pokes fun at the juices that flow from grilled red meat. Its dark sense of humor is not for the faint of heart. What do you think of it?

I've recently started collecting serving trays. They are wonderful for transporting food at dinner parties and make delightful gifts. However, one drink tray I will not be adding to my collection is this fingerprint drink tray.

In case you don't already own cheese serving tools, I went shopping for stylish cheese serving trays and found a fabulous selection. They run the gamut from ornate and over-the-top to sleek and minimalist. My favorite is this marble tray with silver bamboo hardware ($78); it's got the perfect amount of flair and will look excellent displaying everything from a pungent blue to a sharp cheddar.

Some of you might use filtered water, flavored water or even coffee, but do you ever think about the shape of your ice cubes? Why stick with boring squares when you can get cats, dogs, bunnies, stars, apples, jewels, and more. These cat and dog ice cube trays are $6.99 a piece or $12.99 for both.

The Summer is heating up and there is no better way to cool down than with a refreshing, cold drink. Although my fridge is a newer model, it doesn't have a built in ice maker: I have to use ice cube trays to make ice. Currently I have only two trays which is problematic for entertaining, so I asked you to help me expand my collection of ice cube trays.

As you all know I am planning a super special breakfast for my oh-so-fabulous mother to celebrate el dia de la madre (translation: Mother's Day). Unfortunately I've turned the only breakfast tray we own into a crafting station for my invitation making hobby. The face of the tray is covered in glitter, glue, and paint - that's why last week I asked you to help me out and find my mom a beautiful breakfast tray.
