I frequently buy the Arizona Tea version of this drink, but it's fun and more economical to make your own. Just mix equal parts of Lemonade and Tea together for a refreshing drink. If you want to make it with alcohol, try adding vodka or your favorite flavored vodka to it. Other variations include adding 1 1/4 oz citrus vodka and 1/4 oz of triple sec, or using Hard Lemonade (Mike's) and a Hard Tea (Twisted Tea) as a great combination. Here's one called Arnold Palmer with a Boggie: 1 cup ice tea, 1 cup lemonade, 1/2 cup dark rum, Mint leaf garnish, Ice cubes. Just pour the dark rum over the top of the iced tea/lemonade.

I was checking out GQ’s website one day on behalf of a male friend looking for fashion advice and I found GQ's 50 Most Stylish Men (of all time). They put together a great list of men some I was very familiar with, some not so much. However, I think they put together fabulous list of men that exude oodles of panache. What I love most about their list is that they chose a group that has a wide range of style, ethnically diverse, and you’ll notice that they all rose to popularity during different decades - not to mention I LOVE a well-dressed man!

So, my Sugar beauties, I picked a few of my favorites from GQ’s list and also provided the link to the full list below. I hope you have fun reading it as much as I did!

Marcello Mastroianni
A white French-cuff shirt makes the gentleman. But be sure to keep the cuff links simple-the boldness of the cuffs makes enough of a statement.

Steve McQueen
The simpler the better. You don’t need bold patterns or loud colors to make a style statement. A perfect-fitting T-shirt and a great pair of black wraparound shades will do just fine.

David Bowie
The skinnier the tie, the louder the (style) performance. And isn’t it funny how what looked sharp forty years ago still looks sharp today? --Gosh he looks young! But he still looks good now!

David Beckham For Sharpie Markers

David Beckham is the new face of Sharpie permanent markers.

In a change from his usual glamorous advertising deals - which include contracts with Emporio Armani underwear, Police sunglasses and Motorola - the soccer star will be the global ambassador for the pens, which are widely regarded as the best autograph marker for celebrities.

He will be appearing in a marketing campaign premiering in the US this month.

Howard Heckes, the global business unit president for Sharpie, said: "Like the Sharpie brand, David embodies individuality and creative expression.

"He is the rare athlete who transcends nationality and sport to command worldwide attention, making him the perfect ambassador for Sharpie marker users who are as passionate about the bold mark of a Sharpie as they are about the colours, variety and almost limitless uses of the product."

David - who shot to fame in the US after signing a deal with Los Angeles soccer team LA Galaxy and moving to the city with his wife Victoria and their three sons - revealed he has always been a fan of the marker pens.
He said: "I have always enjoyed signing autographs for people, especially since I used to love getting my heroes' signatures when I was younger. I love to use Sharpie markers, so it's a natural choice for me to partner with them."

The advertising campaign, which will include adverts in print, online and in stores, will feature in regions globally, including North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia Pacific.

David is not the first sportsman to have signed a deal with the brand. American football stars Terrell Owens, Steve Young and Howie Long, and golfers Gary Player and Arnold Palmer have all fronted campaigns for Sharpie markers.

Lake Shasta Houseboat BBQ: Grilled Summer Squash Salad with Arugula, Ranch Tomatoes and Tarragon Vinaigrette

This is to go with the Teriyaki Chicken Burgers with Swiss and Grilled Pineapple. I briefly considered doing a pasta salad but who wants all those carbohydrates when you are out in the water? I tried to keep it on the light side.

Grilled Summer Squash Salad with Arugula, Ranch Tomatoes and Tarragon Vinaigrette

1 cup olive oil
1/2 cup sherry vinegar
1/4 cup chopped fresh tarragon leaves
Kosher salt
Cracked black pepper
2 zucchini, sliced lengthwise, 1/4-inch thick
2 yellow squash, sliced lengthwise, 1/4-inch thick
1 pound arugula
1 pint tear-drop tomatoes, cut in 1/2

Tarragon Vinaigrette:
In a small bowl add olive oil, sherry vinegar, chopped tarragon, salt and cracked pepper and whisk. Reserve for salad.
Brush zucchini and squash with tarragon vinaigrette and grill lightly on both sides. Reserve for salad.

In a large bowl, combine the arugula, tomatoes, and tarragon vinaigrette; add a little at a time. Do not overdress salad; greens should be lightly coated. Lay out 8 plates, arrange 1 zucchini slice and 1 yellow squash slice on each plate, add a handful of arugula tomato salad and season with salt and cracked pepper.

Arnold Palmer:
½ iced tea (sweetened or unsweetened, I like Arizona Iced Tea with Lemon)
½ lemonade
**You can add spike it with some vodka if it suits you too.

Lake Shasta Houseboat BBQ: Teriyaki Chicken Burgers with Swiss and Grilled Pineapple

I am so excited for this weekend - my boyfriend and I are heading up to Lake Shasta to go house boating with a bunch of close friends. We also have a ski boat and a pair of jet skis waiting for us! It's been really hot in SF the past few days and I can't wait to jump in the lake! Everyone was assigned a meal - my bf and I got Sunday's lunch so we are making Teriyaki Chicken Burgers with Swiss and Grilled Pineapple. I got the chicken burger idea from the one I used to love eating at Red Robin back in the day. We'll also have some Arnold Palmer's ready to go too (by special request).

Teriyaki Chicken Burgers with Swiss and Grilled Pineapple

8 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
8 whole wheat buns
1 whole pineapple
8 slices, Swiss cheese

Marinade:
1 cup Kikkoman's Teriyaki Marinade
½ cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon water

Toppings:
Lettuce
Onions
Tomatoes

Mix all the ingredients for the marinade, stirring until the sugar has dissolved. Cover the chicken breast fillet with plastic wrap and pound on it with a kitchen mallet so that it is about 1/2-inch thick. Place the chicken breasts in a gallon size Ziploc bag with the marinade and store in the refrigerator overnight.

Preheat the grill to medium heat. Cook the chicken for 4 to 6 minutes per side or until it's done. When you flip the chicken add the pineapple slices to the grill. The pineapple will take less time to cook -- about 3 or 4 minutes. You'll know the pineapple slices are done when they have some nice grill marks on each side. Be careful not to burn the chicken or the pineapple. The teriyaki contains sugar, which may char if grilled too long. About 1 minute before the chicken is done place 2 slices of Swiss cheese on top of the fillet to melt.

As the chicken is grilling toast the face of the top and bottom of the buns on the grill. Build your burger as you want it – make sure you use some of the grilled pineapple.
