I am so excited to announce the 1st of many home tours on Bright, Bold, and Beautiful! I knew I wanted to begin with Kirsten Nease who is not only a fabulous designer in the Richmond area, but also a good friend! She offers full service interior design for customers with residences on the East coast.

I found this article about Coco! You
know how I LOVE Coco. This is
amazing! Her apartment at the
Ritz has been untouched, except
for cleaning since she died in 1971
Coco Chanel lived at the Ritz in Paris (if you remember from the 1st quiz) but worked and entertained within walking distance at Rue Cambon. There are four floors: the Chanel store is at street level, haute couture dressing rooms are on the second floor, her apartment is on the third, and her workshop is on the fourth. The rooftop of the building is said to have some of the best views of Paris.

>Hi Reader,
I have been a voyeur at this site for quite some time and as such I have come to respect your design vision. I need your help ASAP! I recently experienced some water damage to my 1942 custom bungalow. As a result the wonderful insurance company has come through and has agreed to re-install new hardwood floors in my dining room and living room, paint the entire kitchen (including cabinets) laundry room, dining room, living room and to install a new kitchen floor. My problem is choosing paint color for my rooms! I am so overwhelmed with all the options I have been researching. I am posting pictures in the gallery and hopefully here too but it is difficult to get a feel for the space because there is no furniture or art or anything personal in the rooms! So I guess I had better give you some idea what our idea of a comfortable space looks like. We are eclectic in our tastes. Mixed antiques and modern midcentury pieces are scattered about. I collect Shag prints, which are bold and bright with lots of oranges and greens. I also collect tikis but HATE the beachy thing. My husband is an airbrush artist and tends toward bold deep color. Now the house. We have 8 foot ceiling in the living area and dining area with coved ceilings and curved walls. I am installing recessed lighting in all three rooms. The red kitchen island that sits in the dining room in the pictures obviously belongs in the kitchen and well be painted as well. Lots of nooks and crannies and built in cabinets and bookcases scattered about. Give it your best shot! HELP me pick some amazing paint color and I will post the finished result for your viewing pleasure! P.S. I am looking for a chesterfield sofa for the living room in what I envision to be olive green leather. Any ideas? Here is a link to the Flicker site for some pics! http://www.flickr.com/photos/44249767@N05/?saved=1

It's hard to age gracefully as a supermodel. But at 43, Cindy Crawford has her coping strategies firmly in place – a mixture of acceptance and defiance. "I have cellulite.

**PUBLIC**

Public medicine looks a lot like public school
http://www.tuccille.com/blog/2009/06/public-medicine-looks-lot-like-public.html
With our son approaching school age, my wife and I are considering a variety of options: charter, private, homeschooling. Just about the only option not on the list, even though we're forced to pay for it anyway, are public schools. We're not only unimpressed with the results achieved by local public schools, but we also don't like their one-size-fits-all structure.

I'm hoping to move out of my current position and would like some help to make my resume look more "adult" and less "college student." I'm would like to tailor the resume specifically for an event planner/coordinator position.
The format of the resume doesn't come through with cut and paste.

I'm in the midst of a cleanse. My living situation is inexcusable. I'm a working actor in Chicago.

For the last 3 years I've been after my husband to clear out the patio behind our garage. Little by little he's been removing his acquired stuff and we are now deeply involved in getting it ship shape.
I'll be uploading to this album as we progress so, if you're interested, keep an eye out.

At Witz' End: My night with range anxiety
by Gary Witzenburg on Apr 1st 2009 at 12:02PM
I left the dinner meeting around 9:00, with home roughly 60 miles away...no challenge for an engine-powered vehicle, even relatively low on fuel. You can always find an open station.
Not so on this 1997 night.
