I was wondering if there is a major difference between a dutch oven and a crockpot?? I have come across a lot of recipes that ask for the use of a dutch oven. I looked up the price of one and it was quite a shocker.

Well maybe not a 6 year old, maybe an 8 year old who's allowed to use the stove. Lol. Anyways, this is the magical bread that's sweeping the blogging globeomasphere!

Heart Healthy Tuscan Braised Beef
A taste of Italy, this tender cut of beef gets a robust herb rub and then is left to bake. It's great for Sunday dinner, or start it in the slow cooker before you go to work. Both cooking methods are provided here.

My baby and I love Persian food, even though neither of us are Persian or middle eastern but I did used to live in Saudi Arabia when I was a kid bc my dad had a job there as a doctor. ANYWAYS!

This chocolate-truffle-inspired tart shows just how decadent simplicity can be. Dulce de Leche is a South American delicacy, made by cooking condensed milk into caramel -- its growing popularity means you can buy it at most stores these days. It's the perfect complement to the rich chocolate -- and the addition of flaked sea salt gives the whole thing balance and chef-like flair.
