I bought this kit today because I love French manicured nails. I think they are classy & simple, appropriate for any occasion. Being a broke, post-college young woman, I can't afford getting my nails done at a professional salon.

I recently rediscovered this gem of a hockey song and felt it deserved a post. Originally broadcast when Mario first retired on 102.5 WDVE. With the current preseason/upcoming regular season, I cannot help but think how while the Pens were gone for awhile, now they could not be anymore alive and thriving.

I'll admit I have a love for french style. It started when I was a teenager and wanted to learn the french language, travel to Europe, etc. I made crepes for my family, read french magazines, so it's no surprise that I have found a love for french furnishings!

'Rude' French are worst tourists
The French are seen by hoteliers as the world's worst tourists
BBC News
French tourists are the worst in the world, coming across as penny-pinching, rude and terrible at languages, according to a new survey.
The study by travel company Expedia asked 4,500 hotels worldwide to rank tourists on their behaviour.
Japanese tourists - seen as clean and tidy, polite, quiet and uncomplaining - came top for the third year running.

Remember the tightwad tourist whose baggy shorts, frequent complaining and shouted questions about why none of the locals spoke any English made the ugly American the world's Visitor From Hell? Well, it's time for Archie Bunker to move over and make way for Petulant Pierre. According to a recent international survey, the French are now considered the most obnoxious tourists from European nations, and behind only Indians and the last-place Chinese as the worst among all countries worldwide.

I think it's universally known that French women have a sense of style. I, however, think that there's something more to this. I mean people can purchase similar clothing items worn by the French at the exact prices or knock-offs to get their style but they can't seem to pull it off the way the French do.

PARIS (AFP) — France has by far the highest proportion of clinically underweight women in Europe, but only half of them think they are too thin, according to a new study.
In other European countries the opposite is true: the number of women in Britain, Spain and Portugal, for example, who see themselves as seriously skinny easily outstrips the number who actually are.
"This shows that what people consider an ideal weight in France is lower than in other countries," said the study's author Thibaut de Saint Pol, a researcher at France's National Institute of Demographic studies, which published the study on Wednesday.

Angelina Jolie was interviewed recently by German-language weekly news magazine Focus. She was asked specifically if she would be interested in doing a European, as opposed to a Hollywood, film, and she said yes, and that she would even like to do a film in French once her skills in the language improve enough in a few years. She said she’s not as much of a movie buff like her partner, Brad, and that she’s either sleeping while a film is on or is getting up and taking care of the kids.
