Hello, my name is Robin of Berkeley and I write for American Thinker. I was left but last year turned right, and, if you'd like to know more, you can read Everything You've Ever Wanted to Know About Robin (But Were Afraid to Ask) by clicking on my byline (at American Thinker.)
Thank you for taking the time to read this letter which I've been meaning to pen for a while. I just had a provocative conversation with my editor extraordinaire at AT which has prompted this piece.

Obama Is No Reagan: The Polish Lesson Ignored in Iran
By Jeffrey Lord
Barack Obama is no Ronald Reagan.
One need look no further than President Obama's cautiously timid response to the demands of freedom from Iranians. Contrast this with Reagan's response to similar demands from Poles in the 1980s and the miserable inadequacy of the Obama foreign policy is thrust into a stark and shameful relief.

Don't mention marriage or commitment or babies to George - that's his end of the line;

Source: Sunday Mirror (London, England)
Date: 12/31/2000

"Eventually, a woman finds that George simply ain't the marrying kind."

A Great Life
I've heard the saying, "The best gift parents can ever give to their children is to love each other."
I've had the pleasure of witnessing the truth of this statement for over 40 years. From as far back as I can remember my Mom and Dad were a team.

The past 48 hours I've been in hell. I was away on a business trip where I was running around nonstop, I'm talking out at schmoozing dinners until after midnight, and I had to share a hotel room with my boss.
This morning I went back in to work, not sure why as I should've just taken the day off but that's another story, and I found this amazing email from Saks Fifth Avenue in my inbox.

One of my New Years resolutions was to start having breakfast every morning. I stopped eating breakfast in high school because my genius friends and I thought it would help us lose weight :OY: and now I haven't had it for so long that if I try to eat in the morning.. I get sick.
