' oh kiss me, beneath the milky twilight '
I sat at the bleachers waiting for you, we had arranged to meet at 9am after your session. As always, you were late. You were hanging out with a group of guys, it didn't surprise me when you ran up to me apologising and tugging my arm.

The outside of the cake was decorated with a scrollwork on the sides and a thin line of ribbon which had a border of green pearls at the base of each ribbon.

My husband and I had a gorgeous summer wedding this past August. We both grew up in the Bay Area and wanted to incorporate nothing but the finest from where we grew up. We wedded at the breathtaking Claremont Resort & Spa, our wedding cake made by the renowned Katrina Rozelle and our favors from the delicious Charles Chocolates.

A Three tiered floral fantasy; The top and bottom tier were vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream filling and icing, and the middle tier was red velvet cake with cream cheese buttercream filling and icing.
Calla lilies, daisies, and assorted wildflowers decorated the sides of the tiers, while creeping ivy wound it's way up the sides of the cake.
My mother helped me set up this cake and I don't know where she might have been that day, but her head was not in the game!

We decided to get married in a cave, bat and all - just kidding!! Well, there was a cast iron bat hanging from the entrance of this spectacularly decorated wine cave in Northern California. We invited our closest friends and family and we were absolutely delighted to have the most wonderful designer/florist/renaissance man - John James of San Francisco's John James Designs - transform the cave with his design for our romantic Banquet Celebration - resplendent with the colors of Burgundy, Platinum and overflowing with Sterling Silver Roses. We married in November, so he filled the space with gorgeous roses and fall foliage .

What goes up must come down. Last year at this time, we commented on the rise of irrational exuberance. In 2008, the world landed with a loud and well-documented thud.

“She began spritzing on her favourite Hard Candy fragrance she had just purchased another bottle of from the fabulous beauty store Sephora the day before, in hopes of calming her nerves before her big date.
She could recall right back to 2 weeks ago when he finally told her that he thought she was Some Kinda Gorgeous, and that was enough to melt her defenses. See, she had been accused by her friends of giving guys some intense Lip Venom in the past, and had scared them from wanting to start a little Miss Sixty-style Quickie Chronicle with her.
