What I'm listening to...
I haven't been able to turn MGMT off lately - in fact, I will probably do a Listen to This post at The Boom later today.
Also, Soulsavers is a sponser of the Guilty Pleasure radio show that I listen to, and post about weekly.

The year unfolded largely without incident. As summer gave way to a crisp fall and then winter, more complaints rose about the cost of tending to the orc camps, but both Terenas and Arthas expected such. Arthas continued to train with Uther.

GLAMOUR: So would you like to do musical theater?
SJ: I would love to work on Broadway, but I don’t know that it would manifest itself in musical theater…. I have terrible stage fright that I’d have to get over.

WARNING: This topic is heavy and not light hearted in the least. I wouldn’t be surprised if no one had anything to say other than EEWW!
Yesterday I spent my usual Sunday evening watching movies.

It was a crisp and brilliant autumn day last October when the medical and financial crises with which my family had successfully, if barely, coped for seven years became a catastrophe.
My husband had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2002, a year after our daughter was paralyzed in a horse-riding accident.

I’m a sucker for a good western. There’s something about the slow southern drawl, the sweeping desert beauty, the tough guys on horses, and the intensity of a good showdown that I find so engaging.
The Book:
Virgil Cole and Everett Hitch are two gunman who come to the town of Appaloosa to lay down order and reign in the terrible Randall Bragg who murdered the sheriff and instills terror upon the town.

I really like British actor Orlando Bloom, 31, and Australian model Miranda Kerr, 25, together. They don’t flaunt their relationship and try to keep it low-key, and they seem genuinely fond of each other. They haven’t talked too openly about their relationship to the press, but they’ve been seen out together plenty of times and Kerr acknowledges that they’re together.

Although I live in Philly now, I lived in New Jersey for most of my life. And Jersey's most famous paranormal phenomenon is the Jersey Devil. He's said to live in the Pine Barrens, a rural section of the state about 20 minutes or so from where I grew up.

For the last 3 years I've been after my husband to clear out the patio behind our garage. Little by little he's been removing his acquired stuff and we are now deeply involved in getting it ship shape.
I'll be uploading to this album as we progress so, if you're interested, keep an eye out.

On May 2, 1939, New York Yankees first baseman Lou Gehrig benches himself for poor play and ends his streak of consecutive games played at 2,130. "The Iron Horse" was suffering at the time from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), now known as "Lou Gehrig’s Disease."
Henry Louis Gehrig was born June 19, 1903, in New York, New York, the only child of German immigrants to survive childhood illness.
