Plump mussels swimming in their own broth with ginger, onions, garlic, tomatoes and spinach. Eat it with rice and enjoy!
My boyfriend really loves this, it's one of the few filipino recipes that I know and do often.

On the heels of celebrating my visit with Elisabetta of Sono Montendoli, I had the opportunity to delve into the life of yet another great woman—Julia Child. I was leaving for Europe and a good friend had just finished reading My Life in France by Julia Child and Alex Prud’Homme. She was completely taken by the book and thought that I MUST read.

First I want to apologize for not writing this last part sooner. Work’s been very busy and for awhile there I couldn’t get in the right frame of mind to write. But I’m back now with the final installment :-D.

My husband and I got really fed up of looking for an apartment, so today we went for a walk around Bergen (Norway) to discover our new hometown. I had been to the port a few times already but always at night, so I always missed the fish market. I had read that the fish market was great, but never thought it would be that great.

Yummmmm Sea Food! Again I did the best I could based on the info I could find...which wasn't much. Most of these restaurants don't make it that easy....but some do!

Have you ever heard of this dish before? It's something that I've always wanted to try and seen in various cookbooks, but Cioppino just isn't something that I've ever gotten around to making.
To tell you a little more about it, Cioppino is a fish stew derived from the various regional fish soups and stews of Italian cuisine.
