I totally forgot that my department at work is having a potluck on Thursday.
I have no idea what to bring. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

At the beginning of the semester my speech teacher gave us all the course syllabus which is fine--teachers are supposed to do that. She went over the syllabus during the first day of class and everything seemed fine.
BUT---and you knew there would be a Big "BUT" she was probably the most inconsistent teacher I have ever had.

Thanksgiving is fast approaching, and my love of all things pumpkin is hardly waning. From yogurt to muffins, I relish this tasty flavor of Fall. If you're looking for a pumpkin pie alternative, these pumpkin-carrot bars are delish.

This is always a hit. It's a little time consuming, but worth it. From this recipe.

A friend of mine is a huge fan of celebrating special occasions with a big, potluck-style barbecue. But since someone has to get stuck manning the grill, and late-comers are greeted with unappetizingly cold food, she decided to do something a little different for her birthday this year and host a backyard sandwich party. Guests were invited to make sandwiches to share, or to bring chips, beer, or just an appetite for sandwiches.

California's Central Valley produces many of the fruits and vegetables consumed in America. It is also one of the poorest areas of the country. There are high rates of malnutrition and obesity, and residents have little access to fresh produce themselves.

I'm always on the lookout for a new book to read. I'm going on vacay later on this month so I'll be needing one to bring with me!
Any suggestions?
