My MIL had this Tapenade at a restaurant on Siesta Beach - Sarasota, and brought back home a small container. My SIL and I loved it and we've been trying to decipher the recipe ever since :)
This might be the closest I've come to the original.
Ingredients:
1 cup of green olives stuffed with red peppers
5 or 6 jalapeno peppers - or as spicy as you like it
2 garlic cloves
1/2 a tomato peeled and seeded
1/4 tsp of dried oregano
salt to taste
a dash of olive oil
Put all ingredients in food processor, MINUS salt and oil.

Ingredients for 4:
- 11 ounces of pasta (penne or farfalle)
- 3 or 4 tomatoes
- 2 mozzarella balls
- 3 tablespoons of tapenade (olive past)
- Basil
Cook the pasta (But put a little bit of salt in the water, the tapenade is already salted)
In the meantime, dice the tomatoes and the mozzarella balls.
When the pasta is ready, put 3 tablespoons of tapenade in it. Well mix.

This recipe came from the folks at Whole Foods and it is packed full of different flavors that all compliment one another! I served it with pilaf which went really well together! I inadvertently bought sheep's milk cheese instead of goat cheese, but I couldn't tell the difference.

These ingredients hold the power to truly transform your body, not to mention lengthen your life. The secret is their magical "MUFA" (Aka good fat!)
To the ancient Greeks, olive oil was liquid gold. For the Aztecs, chocolate was sacred.
