I realize I have completely failed, my 6lbs in 6 weeks challenge has backfired.
HOWEVER considering my birthday is in 2 weeks, I am now shooting for a 2 week challenge. Unfortunately, I was unable to hit the gym today, but, I am running a half-marathon on Sunday!

My regular order, plus a cinnamon swirl. I stayed at the coffee shop for 2 hours gluing scrapbook deco for my sisters digested cases. Each page mind you, plus the cover is equal to 250 pages.

Before eliminating dairy, I loved Mystic Chai, but since it's loaded with milk products, I had to find another brand. I really like Oregon Chai and the amount of different products they offer. I tried the Original and used Rice Dream, but I found that it was too thin, so I think soy milk would be better for a thicker chai.

So girls. We all love our Starbucks. But do you know exactly how many kilojoules are going into that beautiful cup of heaven?

Peanut butter oat bran cookies
Recipe from: Hodgson Mill's Oat Bran cereal box :)
Alright — so just recently I had a fun girl's night and I typically like to volunteer to bring the dessert when we're doing dinner potluck style. Although I definitely love my every-now-and-then indulgences, I try to stick to "healthier" versions of fav recipes for better health. A few weekends ago I volunteered to make these peanut butter oat bran cookies and they were SO delicious, girls!

I prefer the taste of rice milk when I put it over cereal, or just to drink. Rice Dream is my favorite. I will tend to use soy milk though for cooking and when I order a latte--just because it's thicker than rice milk.
