I was sent these by my sister. Really I have NO idea if they're true or not. I bet Grandpa would know though.

Last night I made this for all of us. For Baby J I pureed her portion and added some pureed carrots and peas. She gobbled it up.

I was raised by parents who came through hard times from the war, so this was a value in our home.
Have a backup plan for leftover fruits and veggies.
If lunches don't use the leftovers, try to create

I just came across this great blog over on recipetips.com and I thought that I would share it with you - it's got everything from how to clean your crockpot to great features that you can choose from in today's world of slow cookery.
About Slow Cooking
Slow cooking is a cooking method that uses an electrical countertop appliance referred to as a slow cooker. Slow cookers are often referred to as Crock-Pots®, which is actually a brand name for a type of slow cooker.

Shister - One who speaks bullshit fluently in order to fool people out of money or other possesions, often associated with used-car salesmen
Stew - A dish cooked by stewing, especially a mixture of meat or fish and vegetables with stock.
Back in the day my friends and I came up with a low cost alternative for stew and named it after a friend's father ( AKA "The Shister")
Here it is:
Ingredients:
1 can Dinty Moore Beef Stew
1 lb bag of Egg noodles
Instructions:
Open can of Dinty Moore place in a pot
Prepare according to instructions on said can.
While the Dinty Moore is "cooking"
Prepare Audreystars Boiling water recipe and add your noodles when the water is boiling.

Have you ever heard of this dish before? It's something that I've always wanted to try and seen in various cookbooks, but Cioppino just isn't something that I've ever gotten around to making.
To tell you a little more about it, Cioppino is a fish stew derived from the various regional fish soups and stews of Italian cuisine.
