Possible Steve Fossett Wreckage Found
Ground crews searching for the remains of Steve Fossett say they are trying to determine whether wreckage initially spotted by aerial searchers is the plane piloted by the missing adventurer, who has not been seen since he took off from an airstrip at an isolated ranch in the Nevada desert some 13 months ago. Searchers in a rugged part of eastern California said Thursday they had spotted what is thought to be wreckage, although Madera County sheriff's spokeswoman Erica Stuart would not reveal the exact location of the reported aerial sighting, the Associated Press reports. With the budding blossoms of Spring comes nicer weather and inevitably more travel. If you are familiar with the friendly skies, the idea of surfing the web or watching your own movie while on a five-hour flight may not make up for long security lines, crappy airplane food, and the six inches between your face and the bald head of a sleeping passenger in front of you.
