I think I will go so far as to say David Sedaris is my favourite author
Here are his books, Me Talk Pretty One Day and Holidays On Ice being my favourites!
Also, a book by his sister, Amy Sedaris, a play by the two of them (Book of Liz by the Talent Family) and box sets of his books on cd.
You can find all of these on amazon.com

Quite simply the funniest book I have EVER read. I have recommened it to every reader/nonreader friend I see, and I have never had anyone disagree with me. He is one strange man who hails from a really strange family (his sister Amy is Candy from "Strangers with Candy" and many Letterman episodes)
My favorite nuggets of wisdom: if you are having a bad day, just get a bucket of candy.

Remember Saturday Night Live’s Rachel Dratch- who played Debbie Downer and did a dead-on impersonation of Harry Potter? Dratch left the show two years ago and has had small roles in a few movies and TV shows since then, including the Tina Fey comedy “30 Rock,” but she hasn’t found the same success as some of the other funny women from SNL. Adding insult to injury, Dratch was saddened by the recent Vanity Fair cover story on the rise of comediennes- the included most of her old co-stars, but not her.

and this is one of conan's best interviews ever, aside from when Amy Sedaris is on.

I've always enjoyed spanakopita (Greek spinach pie) but I've never made it. But I just found this recipe in "I Like You: Hospitality Under The Influence" by Amy Sedaris. It looks pretty easy, so I think I'll have to give it a shot.
