You can buy blended oils or you can make your own, but why would you want to blend?
I can give you lots of healthful reasons, like monounsaturated fatty acids, omega-3 fatty acids (and I will if you want me to) but the reason that chefs like to cook blended oil is because it is economical... and because canola oil has a higher smoking/burn point than olive oil - so things don't burn as easily as they would with just olive oil.

Punk legend Henry Rollins revealed in an interview that Britney Spears isn’t the only one singing on those repetitive video game soundtracks she’s been releasing lately. Rollins says that it’s an “older R&B woman” mixed in with Britney’s voice because Britney “just has no feel.”
“They have the black chick come in and sing, and Britney sings over it, and they mix them together,” said Rollins, who has his own talk show on IFC. (Britney) gets her phrasing basically from this older R&B woman.

You know those mornings when you
hit the snooze 5 times and are running
late, hardly time to brush your teeth,
let alone time to wash and style your hair. Here
are a couple of tips to freshen, at least your hair,
for the day. (DO take the time ot brush your teeth).
Powder Your Roots
So your hairline does not look greasy: Dig up a big, fluffy makeup brush, or a big cottonball and dip it into a
pot of after shower powder/body talc. Tap it once on the back of your hand to remove the excess, then dust
it over your roots. It mops up oil and blends into your strands, so no one will know you didn't shower.
Scent Strands with Perfume
Spray a light shot of fragrance into the bristles and run it through strands from roots
to ends and your hair will smell amazing throughout the day.

This tutorial is for a very dramatic smokey eye that is basically black. It is considered sultry, sexy, and some might refer to it as the “Victoria Secret Model” look.
You will need the following products: a matte black base (Blacktrack fluidline), a matte black powder eyeshadow (Carbon eyeshadow), a matte highlight that’s similar to your skintone (Performance eyeshadow), another matte highlight that’s similar to your skintone, but darker than the one before (Malt eyeshadow), a black eye kohl (Graphblack technakohl, Blacktrack fluidline) and [optionally] a shimmery silver or black eyeshadow if you want a shimmery look (Silver Ring eyeshadow). MAC is what I use, but any cosmetic line you use is fine - using similar colors.

Tandoori turkey in the oven
For a few years now I've wanted to try to marry the traditional Southern Indian food my husband grew up enjoying with Thanksgiving as I know it (Southern girl with a love of spice and heat).
So this year I did a trial run of a tandoori-style turkey made in the oven. By next year I hope to build my own tandoor, or at least grill this guy, because it needs a little more heat to crisp up properly.

First of all, if you have fair enough skin to have freckles, you do not want to try tanning -- it's unsafe and will probably just make your freckles even darker. I have a lot of freckles, and I've learned the best thing to do is embrace them! Most boys think they are cute!

Backstage at runway shows, makeup artists just looooooovvve to mix up the perfect lip color that we can't wait to try—but with, like, 20 unmarked shades from their palettes. That's why, after seeing the hot-hot-hot orange-red lips at the Prada spring show, we asked makeup artist Pat McGrath to share her recipe. Delicious!
