There shall be no cupcakes. No chocolate cake and no carrot cake. According to New York City’s latest regulations, not even zucchini bread makes the cut.

I love these super simple muffins. I made cheddar muffins and bacon muffins today for the kids' lunch while they were at the parade. They're totally portable and easy for them to eat on the go.

I'm a mess.
My first ex-boyfriend broke up with me mid-November and moved out of our apartment a month later. He very coldly told me he didn't see a future with me, and then said he hoped we could become close friends.

I received another one of these kinds of e-mails today from one of my "grrl friends", so I figured I'd post the questions along with my answers. Feel free to send something like this to your friends and family. You might learn something!

Hey sugars,
Just wanted to share one of my favorite late-night treats. I tend to want something sweet in the evening a few hours after dinner (since I don't usually have dessert) and this is healthy and totally hits the spot.
It's organic cottage cheese, locally grown blueberries, and organic cinnamon.

From Wikipedia:
The Strawberry Shortcake line of characters each had their own fruity or dessert-themed name with clothing to match, and they each had a dessert- or fruit-named pet. Like the Strawberry Shortcake doll, all the other characters' dolls had hair scented to match their dessert theme. The characters lived and played in a magical world known as Strawberryland.
