Ancient brewery discovered on mountaintop in Perú
Field Museum online expedition still in progress describes discovery of 'Beer of Kings'
Archaeologists discover a 1,000-year-old brewery from the Wari Empire's occupation of Cerro Baúl, a mountaintop city in the Andes. Remains of the brewery were well preserved because a fire set when the brewery was closed made the walls collapse over the materials.
Archaeologists working in southern Peru found an ancient brewery more than 1,000 years old.

Called Chateau Jiahu, this blend of rice, honey and fruit was intoxicating Chinese villagers 9,000 years ago—long before grape wine had its start in Mesopotamia.

I know I've seen this before, but for those of you who haven't (and who I thought would appreciate it), enjoy! Some of it brings back great memories for those of us who used to live in the great State of New Jersey.
If you've ever lived in Jersey...you'll appreciate this!!!
