DVD Reviews: Alpha Dog, Little Children, Notes on a Scandal, Jesus Camp
I am finally catching up on some movies that I have been wanting to see now that they are on DVD. Here are a few mini reviews from this weekend.
Alpha Dog: 3.5 Stars
There was so much lead up (2+ years) to this film and a lot of hype about Justin Timberlake's acting performance that I began to get somewhat leery of whether this would be worth a rental.

A source said: "She has enlisted the help of her cross-dressing friend Jodie

Sorry to shout but I really do. It's what I'm all about. It was difficult to capture the details of this shirt in the mirror but it's basically a black camp shirt with two boob flap pockets and roll up sleeves with metal ring detail.

#24/40: Jesus Camp
I got this one in just under the gun, starting it at 3PM today and finishing it just a little bit ago. This documentary was terrifying, mostly because when I was a young teenager I went to a camp like this for 3 summers in a row (though they were much less intense, Methodist, not Evangelical) and I wonder if it was as crazy as the ones in this documentary.
